Next Episode Previews

Did the original run of Dragonball on television in Japan include next episode previews? As far as I recall, I remember that NEP's began in the beginning of Dragonball Z. If Dragonball and the first few episodes of Dragonball Z didn't include NEP's does anyone know what episode had the first NEP?

What made you think of that? All the dragon ball series had NEPs on the original broadcast.

The only difference between the broadcast and DVD release is that, in the original broadcast, they were shown before the ending. But all 3 series had them.

All three series and whatnot in Japan had the NEPs whereas the countries that dubbed it skipped the NEPs for whatever reason they seemed logical.

NEPs DB-Z-GT are still kind of rare to me.

I think he thinks that because, while the US TV broadcast of Z had NEPs, the broadcast of DB (both the original and redub) skipped them entirely.

The safest way to go about it is to remember that all anime series have next episode previews.

All anime series? I don't remember One Piece 0001 HD Broadcast (Fuji TV - Japan) having a NEP for Episode 0002, or Kiteretsu (Spanish dubbed on Panda Biggs - Portugal).

I've seen a guy on another forum complaining about "what's the point of having NEPs on DVD when it's just useful on a TV airing", more or less this is what he said, sigh...

Note: One Piece 0001 "HD" is more like an upscale. Toei Animation you and your upscales...

I have the DB Two disc box sets and they don't have NEP's, and I have the first blue brick and that doesn't have NEP. So hopefully they release a Dragonball Dragon box. Also, I have all the GT singles and the green brick of the whole series, does either of these have the NEP's?

The GT singles do, although placed after the end credits rather than before like they should be. The green bricks do not have them.

Luk Internacional always removes next-episode-previews. No, I have no idea why.

The One Piece "HD Special Edition" cuts out the next-episode-previews. That or the fansub you downloaded did. The actual episode does indeed have it.
