Z Warrior Chronicles

Hiya.

So it looks like this place is pretty DB oriented, which is great because I'd love to hear some feedback from you guys on a little game I'm making titled Z Warrior Chronicles.

It's free, non-profit, and it basically will cover the entirety of the DBZ story from Raditz to Buu Saga, It's something of an Action RPG, but it's really all over the place at the moment. Feel free to give it a try and drop a few comments while you're at it :).

This should be under the Video Games section.

I had tried some version of it a few months ago and it wasn't too bad, though obviously there wasn't much to test. It has potential, but I'm not expecting much since, AFAIK, you're the only person working on the game. By my understanding, to sucessfully make a game you need a team of people who specialize on different aspects of the game: a programmer, a 3D artist, a sound compositor, a 2D artist and so on.
I actually had (and still have) some ideas for a DB game. Actually tried setting something up on this exact engine (Unity), but I really suck at programming and even though there are good tutorials for creating stuff, I didn't enjoy what I was doing.

Alright, thanks :). So should I re-make it over in the VG section, or will a Mod move it eventually?

And I try to stay away from teams because it's way easier motivating myself instead of X amount of others. Far too many projects have gone unfinished due to team members ditching the project, so I don't want the hands of my project left in unpredictabilities.

Ah Xatoku, I already made a thread about your game a couple of months ago. It's in the videogame section you can look it up and continue there.

About the not accepting help bit. You could except help whenever it presents itself and then whenever they decide to quit you can revert back to your one man team setting. Especially for the vast amount of models that need to be created this could prove helpful.

That definitely works in some cases. But it's just relying on those people for the translation of assets, and requiring them in order to achieve what I can't that sort of bugs me. Ultimately, I'm relying on my own motivation to keep me going anyway, so there's no sense in wasting time trying to keep the others motivated too =P.

Also, didn't notice you made a thread XD. Good looking out. I might as well close up this one then? Heh.
