Advance Adventure: Something I'm not clear on...
Okay, so is there a confirmed way to actually earn all those "action replay" characters? I've read elsewhere that you basically just have to 100% complete the game and they'll present themselves.
If there is a way, has someone checked to see if it works in the European version? The only reason I ask is because the Action Replay code for unlocking everything does not unlock the buffet of characters that you get in the Japanese when you use the code. I hope that the characters weren't axed for some weird reason.

There is a button code. After obtaining some of the portraits in Extra Mode, press L, R, Up, Down, L, R, Left, Right, R, R, Right. For the life of me, I can't recall where the code is done, but I *think* it's at the opening scenes where they randomly flash characters on the screen.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

How many of the portraits is "some of the portraits?"
EDIT: And I found something interesting in the GameFAQs complete FAQ:

EDIT 2: In trying to collect the Dragonballs to find out if all the characters are even unlockable, I've found some trouble in finding the one-star Dragonball. If someone has earned the one-star Dragonball in the European version before and isn't the writer of the FAQ, (who either is describing something that's different in the Japanese version or something that doesn't exist at all) please let me know.L, R Up, Down, L, R, Left , Right, R, R, Right
This will unlock all the faces (making you able to play with all the
possible characters) and the forth mini-game! ATTENTION, this seems only
to work in the japanese version of the game!

Some means any amount. You get a playable character for each portrait you acquire.
And I've never known there was a way to obtain everyone without the code...

Any character that you can't unlock simply by touching the portrait, such as Yamucha or the Red Ribbon soldiers, are what I'm referring to.

Strange... I collected all seven before I even found the code, and did not unlock them...

I too cannot find the first Dragonball, looked for a whil, couldn't find it.
And I didn't know that there are more unlockable characters apart from the 8 including Cyborg Tao.

So you did get 8 characters when you found the Dragonballs?Bejiita wrote:I too cannot find the first Dragonball, looked for a whil, couldn't find it.

Oh, and to unlock the rest, just look for portraits. King Piccolo's is actually hidden in the "Small Fry Fight," while Jackie Chun's is in the "Rock Break" minigame.
But as for Cyborg Tao, I don't think anyone has found a way to play as him yet aside from one-on-one battles.
