Mature Content

I wanted to inquire about the rules concerning mature content. For example, I have a fan fiction I am working on I would like to post, but an hesitate due to mature tone of later chapters. They involve R/NC-17 situations (with warning) for emotional reasons (torture scene, humiliation), and not hentai. Meaning the scenes have to do with the plot and the antagonist trying to control the character involved.

I figure it's better to ask and be safe rather than sorry later.

I'm confident that such content as you've described, as one part of a larger fan-project, is perfectly fine. Providing a small content warning along with it is a good idea.
