My cast list

Post by Super Sonic » Sat Feb 21, 2004 7:51 pm

This is who I would cast so far in a DBZ live-action movie. I would like some feedback please. For characters not listed, I have not thought of them yet, but would probably go for non big name martial artists. As follows:

Goku-Robin Shou
Piccolo-Michael Jai White
Bulma-Ming-Na
Chi Chi-Margaret Cho
Vegeta-Jet Li
Master Roshi-Jackie Chan
Frieza (voice)-Gary Oldman or Tim Curry

Wow, there's actually a lot of people I haven't heard of on that list. I guess that's a good thing, and they would probably be better for the job... so, even though I don't know who a good deal of those people are, I'd say good job on that list. Heh...

Jet Li as Vegeta... DUDE!!!! That is so SWEET! I can't believe I never thought of that even though I've seen "The One". :? Though I can't picture Robin shou as Goku. Jackie Chan'd be perfect for him but he's too old now. :(

OMG! Dayspring, I just said that a few months ago while talking about the live-action movie! That I would cast Jackie Chan as Goku and Jet Li as Vegita. To me, no one else could fit the roles as well. I still think that! No, I can't see Chan as Roshi I'm afraid. Magaret Cho as Chi-Chi eh? That would actually be kinda funny. She could do her whole "whiny Asian girl" voice for whenever she's upset concerning Gohan. 8)

Do you know what a mullet is?! It got worse when he fused since Kaioshin's head is smaller so the mullet looked bigger!

You know, at one point, there was a rumor going around that they signed Jet Li to be Goku and Jackie Chan to be Vegeta...

Yeah, you heard me right. Not a typo...

Nicolas Cage as Bulma? That's awesome! I can't believe I never thought of that! And Jesus as a robot, that should be in any movie. You are truly a filmmaking king, Tablet.

If they're basing this on the FUNi dub, they could have Jim Carrey as "Frieza"
