They're still probably trying to find the proper time to release, or they just may wait 'til 2013 to release it. Or they might release it with the other specials.

Well, this is exciting to hear that they actually dubbed it.

Now for an official release date...

That's precisely why ordinary men pursue the concept of perfection, it's infatuation. If something is truly perfect, that's IT! The bottom line becomes there is no room for imagination! No space for intelligence or ability or improvement! Do you understand? To men of science like us, perfection is a dead end, a condition of hopelessness. Always strive to be better than anything that came before you but not perfect! It seems kind of unlikely, but stranger things have happened. And little slip ups like this have gone on to be true before - we had rumors from Justin Cook for almost a year before the Yu Yu Hakusho movie/Eizou Hakusho finally got released over here. So I'll be crossing my fingers at least.

I couldn't care less if this gets an English dub but if it means a home BD/DVD release then great, I'm interested!

I can't wait to spend 30 dollars for something that's a half hour long!

Maybe it'll have bonus commentary by Chris Sabat, talking about how "as viewers, we want Goku and Vegeta to be friends"!

Based on what they normally do now it will either come with a new videogame or it will be released with some type of Kai Bonus features. "The making of Kai" something like that. I was willing to pay 40$ for the 2008 special s 30$ wouldnt be bad for me though I think it will hit 13$ in no time though it would probably release for 20-25$msrp**

I agree with everyone else. if this gets dubbed then that's Great. I really don't have no problems with the English voice actors so I would be happy either way if it is or isn't. I just want an official release.

They better not! I want a real release! not some gimmick release. I don't see the price of the DVD/Blu-ray hitting 40 dollars.. :? Not unless there were other specials tacked onto the DVD/Blu-ray such as, Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans Remake, Episode of Bardock, you get what I'm saying. :P but even with those other releases, I couldn't see the price being over 25 dollars for DVD. for Blu-ray, Maybe 28 or 29 dollars. somewhere along those lines.
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128
Still recording Toonami broadcasts on VHS after all these years!

Well, JSAT special is my favorite among the 3 recent specials (Thrillseeking!Goku who teases/confuses Vegeta, you are wonderful; I hope you're in the upcoming 2013 movie.) so it'll be nice to see them release it. I don't really watch the Funi dub anymore, but having the option to pick which language track you want is always a good thing.
On hiatus.

What I'd be interested about this JSAT's English dub would be the English FUNimation CHA-LA-HEAD-CHA-LA (by Vic Mignogna). They've never did an English version of it before.

Sounds yummy.
The dubbed special, I mean. I care more about an official NA release than the dub itself, but a good dub never hurts.

The JSAT special was the first time I heard the DBZ cast in Japanese, but I'd love to see a dub of it too.
