DragonBall- ON DEMAND Comcast

Post by masenko » Wed Aug 31, 2005 2:39 am

If you have Comcast Digital Cable, you have access to FREE DB and DBZ episodes! I just found that in the Kids and Teens section, there is about 8 free episodes to watch. In it are episodes 1,2, and 4 of Dragonball which aren't on DVD yet but are edited...sorry "little" Goku....

GOD DAMN IT!!! It's times like this that I wish my family could afford digital cable again. Edited or not, I wanted to compare the FUNi version with the Kidmark DVD.
I also go by "veemonjosh".

I see what you are talkin about. Thanks, eventhough these are old and I already have them in Eng/Jap. I can actually let my lil brother, or one of my little cousins watch it, because they really don't understand the Jap version that I watch, and I will stop torturing them with my favorite version.

Basically, you subscribe to an On Demand service through your cable company. Every month or so, you get new programming to watch. However, most of the movie channels give you On Demand service for free if you subscribe. Say you subscribe to HBO...if your cable company offers On Demand, you'll get HBO On Demand for no added cost. Usually, you can choose from a bunch of movies to watch or you can watch episodes from some of the HBO series (i.e. - Sex and the City, Deadwood, Sopranoes, etc.).

In short, it's pretty cool. :D

Its a free service that you get automatically if you have Comcast Digital Cable.

On Demand also comes with Time Warner Digital Cable. Coincidentally I just upgraded to that service today.

Am I the only one that has glitchy On Demand service on Comcast? Comcast keeps saying it will just "fix itself", that the glitches will "iron out" after a few days... but it's been doing this for over a fucking year!

But I'll have to check out which eppies they have... that's cool.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

Hell, I've been to four towns with axcess to digital cable (three in Connecticut and one in Maryland) and they're all as glitchy as hell. I think Comcast is just ripping people off. :?

Back to the topic at hand, last time I checked on Demand with comcast I couldn't find DBZ in any of their categories. But if that's changed it could be interesting. It's a nice feature that works pretty well where I am, so I'll be sure to check it out. I just wish we had the ADV on demand Anime Network.

I am so glad for the Anime Network on demand. Those Dbz episodes on demand are just old episodes of Freeza fighting Piccolo, and the other episode Freeza destroys dende. I noticed a couple of DragonBall episodes as well, but I haven't checked them out yet.
