All Star Voice Cast

If you couldn't have the Funi voices and you had to pick voices for the characters for I dunno, Battle of the Gods or just a theoretical Dragon Ball film in general, who would you choose?

I absolutely never, never, ever, ever want Fox to field an All-Star cast for Movie 14. If they are not going to use Funimation, then release it with sub-only.

I would choose

Goku = Andrew Garfield
Vegeta = Russell Crowe
Piccolo = Samoo el Jackson
Master Roshi = Robin Williams (even though he's awful)

I think Robin Williams would talk faster than the animation of Roshi's mouth.

From what I've known, Fox is just a distributor who helps fund the international releases. I'll be very glad if they have no part in casting choice...

Williams is way too much of an ad-libber too, and does things at his own pace, otherwise I'm almost certain they'd have hit him up for a Ghibli movie already, since he's a known anime fan.

I honestly can't think of any big Hollywood casting I'd want to see do voicing on this either, even in a worst case scenario. Or even if it had been this way from the get go. Most 'celebrity' voice actors aren't that good, and take away roles from legitimate voice actors. Williams is one of the best of the 'celeb' lot though. As are Patrick Stewart and James Woods.

He just has that "jumpiness" to his voice that Goku has.

Actually, I did just think of someone, though they're more from my personal pick to portray the character in live-action if it ever happened again, and more properly. The role would be mostly voice and maybe even CG though, so...anyway, I've always thought Ralph Fiennes would make a good Freeza.
