Here you can write your opinion about the future of Dragonball.
Should be made a sequel or not? How much are the chances that we will get a sequel?
What is the story of a potentional sequel? Who should the maincast or a completely new cast? etc. etc. etc.
Let's begin the discussion!

I think a movie every 3 or 4 years would be nice. I'm hoping for atleast one more after the new one.

But is that enough to keep Dragonball popular?

Dragon Ball is done, and over. It will always be popular with those who grew up with it or were introduced to it later. This is how things are now, we don't get series or a movie ever year for a franchise whose main body is no longer functioning.

Next year is the 30th anniversary. I guess we will get a big anniversary film or maybe a new TV series. If we get a new TV series then it's likely a series that will focus on new characters. Maybe a TV series based on DB Heroes? That will allow Bandai to sell more cards

Then it would allow for DB Heroes as a game to spread across the international market

.
Hopefully they do have at least something good for the anniversary.

An OVA about Vegeta's life as a mercenary.
An OVA about Uub, Pan and Bra going off on a silly adventure.
Yes...

Check out
Journey's End, a short story of Goku and Vegeta's final days.

Mercenary Vegeta Years sounds like a real interesting premise for an OVA.

Dragon Ball has been milked to death at this point. It won't last much longer IMO. However yes I would like to see a new TV series that does not focus on the main cast. We all know what came of that, I'm looking at you GT. That Vegeta OVA sounds pretty cool too.
Vegeta: "Funny... I seem to recall Kakarot being fed the same information right before he transformed; the distinct look on your faces when he went Super Saiyan didn't exactly inspire confidence. One does not predict or calculate power like ours."

I dunno a new series that doesn't focus on the main cast sort of defeats the point here. What are we talking? Bulma, Videl, Roshi, Baba or what? If it was just like Dragon Ball Online that'd just seem to be really generic stuff with the DBZ label slapped on it. The whole point of Dragon Ball is those core characters, that cast.
I doubt we'll get a new series anyway and I wouldn't really want one.

More movies, games and such. New OVAs about key character backstories- maybe a day in the life of a Freeza soldier- more Ginyu Special Corps!
No new series- I think the story has been stretched far enough as it is.
It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.
Superman in an orange Gi was the bastard son of FUNimation. Its not The real character, it is as false as Chatku.

I'm talking everyone: Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, etc. Master Roshi can make a cameo since he is immortal but I was thinking a show about the newer generation. Everyone is long dead. They could make a DBO anime.

I won't mind having a new series. We pretty much haven't had a new show since 1996 when GT started and something new would be good. Kai was the same old stuff that we seen before. I believe most fans want something new and different that is fresh for once.

But then it wouldn't be Dragon Ball. It'd be like those awful sequel series they make to Beyblade and the like. It would wear the cloak and boots of Dragon Ball, with its senzu bean growth or scattered Dragon Balls but it would be hollow.

A DBO anime would be good way to restart the series, but not with the default heroes. No, I want something else and please, please, please, female fighters. I don't care if they are not as strong as the males, but c'mon!

I really don't mind more DB side stories (aka movies), but I hope they won't touch the main story. DB is popular, so I don't see why would its media stop being released.

Oh! OH!
THE RISE OF THE SAIYANS. A backstory of how the Saiyans decided it was time to take over Planet Plant. Bardock must have been a teen or a young adult with this happened. Can you imagine?? (not-yet-King) Vegeta leading his men against the superior technology of the Tsufurs.
The war lasted a DECADE. That's... that's a lot given how Saiyan are.
This would have to be rated because there would be plenty... PLEEEENTYY of blood and the violent Saiyans win at the end.
They would also show Vegeta's and Goku's mother, Kid Raditz and who knows what else!! I WANT THIS!!!!

Calling it now: Dragon Ball Heroes Anime.
It would be like Yu-gi-oh but instead of card games, you get power levels and card games.
