Can anyone confirm that...

Surpassing the Galaxy, Rising High sounds better in the 20th Century-SONGS BEST CD?

This is 1 of my favourite songs ever and its nice that it gets some kind of remastered version.

Doesn't seem like anything new or remastered, so save your money I guess.

Ok so I downloaded the CD (I realise that it's something I shouldn't be doing but I really wanted to hear the track for myself before buying it)

Anyway I jumped straight to Track 13 Ginga Koete Rising High...so for whatever reason it's not the original track, it's a remixed version from Complete Song Collection Volume 3 Disc 3 Track 15 and its called the Galaxy Adventure Mix

This wasn't mentioned in the review on the site? Is this legit?

You can just listen to the samples on Amazon Japan and compare the versions for yourself.

This is one of the many reasons why you don't download shit.

True FLAC/WAV rips have lossless audio quality, so the same as the CD.

Reason why people still haven't got used to FLAC or WAV is because the audio files tend to be way too big in comparison to MP3 files.

For example (more or less the sizes of Sonic Adventure 2 Birthday Pack rip I did)
MP3 = 150 MB
FLAC = 390 MB
WAV = 600 MB

FLAC is lossless but it occupies less space than WAV, whereas WAV does a good ton of space just for 20 or so tracks.

While that's all... information, I guess... it really has nothing to do with the question that was asked.

Ah...did not think of that. I've deleted my downloaded version now since its obviously not what I was looking for. Also I'm very sorry if I broke any forum rules.
