Dragon Ball Video Game Beta Videos
I remember before Budokai existed (about a billion and six years ago), there were some videos floating around of Goku on Kinto'un flying around Kame House and some grassy, hilly areas. Also, there were also Sparking! NEO videos without a HUD, and real-time transformations that looked pretty nice. Anyway, does anyone have any of those or betas of other games?

Here's that E3 2001 footage: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2bbgr ... VyU41f_EW8
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

I heard this was supposed to be released on N64.Super Saiyan Prime wrote:Here's that E3 2001 footage: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2bbgr ... VyU41f_EW8

Well here is pre-release screenshot of Yellow Haired LSSJ Broly that's not available in Budokai 3.

Goku flying in high speed in Budokai 3's Dragon Universe. This camera view is not possible in Budokai 3

Cell Games Night stage in Budokai Tenkaichi 3. It SADLY got cut down in the final release. It looked so awesome though.

And the most recent one, Goku vs Oozaru in Ultimate Tenkaichi. It's not possible in the normal game, as Goku only battles Oozaru Vegeta.

I always wondered why I saw a yellow hair Broly in B3. They should have left him that way.

Uh, I kind of doubt that. By 2001 the N64 was pretty dead.sangofe wrote:I heard this was supposed to be released on N64.Super Saiyan Prime wrote:Here's that E3 2001 footage: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2bbgr ... VyU41f_EW8

I wish I had the magazine where It was written or I at least remembered its name.Super Saiyan Prime wrote:Uh, I kind of doubt that. I wonder what that rumored N64 game was supposed to be? Has any images surfaced from that magazine?

Re: Dragon Ball Video Game Beta Videos
It had to be for gamecube, which came out a month after that video. The N64 couldn't possibly handle those graphics.

Re: Dragon Ball Video Game Beta Videos
I remember last year (or two years ago, can't remember) being in Portugal and while browsing a book shop they had a magazine, I think it was "Nintendo Power" or something to do with "Power", anyway the front cover had a small picture of DB: Ultimate Blast and below said "Featuring all characters of the Dragon Ball Z series!".sangofe wrote:I wish I had the magazine where It was written or I at least remembered its name.
I wasn't surprised but somewhat shocked because I knew that wasn't true.
P.S.: I do wish Nintendo 64 had one Dragon Ball game at least, hell, Saturn & PS1 both had DBZ: The Legend so no reason why they couldn't release it on N64 too.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

Why would Nintendo Power be covering a game for PS3/360?dbboxkaifan wrote:I remember last year (or two years ago, can't remember) being in Portugal and while browsing a book shop they had a magazine, I think it was "Nintendo Power" or something to do with "Power", anyway the front cover had a small picture of DB: Ultimate Blast and below said "Featuring all characters of the Dragon Ball Z series!".sangofe wrote:I wish I had the magazine where It was written or I at least remembered its name.

Anyways, there's a very good reason The Legend wasn't released on N64:
PS1: 21 million units
Saturn: estimated at over 6 million units
N64: 5.54 million
(Japanese sales)
N64 had a lower userbase, and would've netted Bandai less money per copy sold due to the cartridge costs.
