Kanzenshuu FanDubbing Group: Potara Productions

Hey, guys! SonGohan619 here!
I was reading some of the posts on the forum, and writing some scripts for FanDub stuff, and I started thinking: Would it be cool to start a Kanzenshuu FanDub Group?
Think about it: We have a lot of people who know the dialogue in and out, who could write the scripts!
We have lots of great video editors who could edit the videos, and we have several users who do FanDubbing!
This could also be a way for people to try out FanDubbing, and see if they like it!
We could create a cast with people from the forum, and dub clips that people want to see dubbed!
Is anyone interested?

Sounds fun. I like the idea of doing clips. Recalling that old unfinished Z movie 3 dub we tried once (room 29?), I think clips give a better set of odds for finishing them. I'm interested.

Room 29. Never thought I'd hear that again... they had a script and everything. I even have the finished files from a few actors somewhere, and I came on pretty damn late.

I'd be in. I don't know how I could contribute but I would like to try.

Fandubbing sounds fun, but your topic says "Kansenshuu", not "Kanzenshuu".

Hmm...I'd maybe be interested in doing some voice-over, but it'd all depend on if I can get my newer laptop up and running soon, since it has a better microphone. So put me down as a 'maybe', I suppose?

My advice? If you get a group going, keep it small. A complicated project like a fandub will fall apart if it's pulled in multiple directions by too many people. A smaller and more reliable group would be best. TeamFourStar, just for example, only has like a half-dozen or so regular members, and just brings in guest-stars for assorted parts now and then.

Also, attaching the "Kanzenshuu" name to such a project is probably not a good idea.

Not necessarily keep it small, but have one, max two leader(s) who make(s) all the decisions.

Ok, I`ve updated the topic!
I am thinking that, at least to begin with, I will take the role of the leader, at least until all the kinks are sorted out!
I`m thinking the first thing we should do is to get a cast, and a replacement cast.
What I mean by this is that we/I cast an actor for one of the characters, and the second best is cast as a replacement, if the first actor does not respond, or is too busy to dub at the moment.

I`m not sure if we should name it "Kanzenshuu FanDubs" or not, perhaps one of the website hosts could tell us if we can do it or not?

I`m thinking this is how the dubs will be made:
When we have the main cast ready, I will ask people to post in this thread which clips they would like to see dubbed (DON`T POST THEM UNTIL THE CAST IS READY!). Then, I will post auditions if there are any roles for the clip that haven`t been cast, and then I will tell the scriptwriter to start writing, or write the script myself, and then send it to the actors, and also tell the editors what we are dubbing, and ask them to start the basic editing! If this becomes a thing that more people would like to be a part of, I will start pointing out leaders for the individual clips, so that we can have several teams working... Wishful thinking, I know xD

I'd be interested in joining this group . I've been a part of a few Dragon Ball fandubs in the past and normally get asked to portray a Chris Sabat-esque Piccolo in a number of them. Unfortunately I don't know if those exist on youtube anymore. However I was able to find this fandub from last year, where I play Cell for just a couple of lines. I know it's a Dameon Clarke impression, but I always try to add a spin of my own whenever an impression voice is used, even if it's subtle.

Not sure what to suggest for a name, but I probably would suggest something lame incorporating 59 into it with the whole Goku pun.

Hmm, well we are all Dragon Ball fans here, and we are trying to combine into a collaborative group, so why not have a name that has something to do with Fusion?
