What music CDs would one go about buying to collect the BGM

Post by KingofWisdom » Sat Jun 29, 2013 4:09 am

from Dragon Ball to GT? Not including the video games. I just placed an order for the Saikyō e no Michi OST earlier, and I already have the sixty-track BGM Collection. What am I missing? If I then purchased the Daizenshuu and the Broli trilogy OSTs, would that be all of it? Any help is appreciated. I'm aware that not all the BGM has been released, including GT's score aside from Saikyō e no Michi's OST. I apologize if anyone has made a similar thread, but I didn't see any.

Thanks for taking the time to read this. :?

In fact, if you want to quickly create a popular image, simply over saturate the colors and increase the contrast. While you may not achieve a sophisticated image, you will achieve an image that will please a less demanding audience." - Alain Briot

Dragon Ball & Dragon Ball Z Daizenshuu (5-disc set)
Dragon Ball Z Ongakushuu vol. 1
Dragon Ball Z Ongakushuu vol. 2
Movie 10 Soundtrack
Movie 11 Soundtrack
Dragon Ball Z BGM Collection (3-disc set)
Saikyou e no Michi Soundtrack

All of these have their exclusive tracks, so you have to collect them all. You don't need Dragon Ball Ongakushuu if you get Daizenshuu.

Wow, that was fast! Just to clarify, if I get the Daizenshuu, can I skip out on both volumes of the Ongakushuu? I appreciate the help.

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm pretty sure I'd need the second volume. Thanks again.

No, you can't skip both volumes of Dragon Ball Z Ongakushuu. The only release you can skip by buying Daizenshuu is Dragon Ball (original, not Z) Ongakushuu.

For the best quality, I recommend that you buy the original release and not the re-release.

Track 17. 悲愴な闘い (M1525) from:
1. 1993 has 14dB of dynamic range (Ongakushū vol. 2, COCC-10788)
2. 2004 has 12dB of dynamic range (Ongakushū vol. 2, COCC-72062)
3. 2006 has 14dB of dynamic range (BGM Collection, COCX-33564~6)

Soppa Saiyjins from Dorgou Ballru Zetto is my favorite transformation everah, especially when Trounksoru did it in front of Seru and when Bejita did it when he faced Jingonigen-hachigo. But for real, I use the FUNi pronunciation. - Soppa Saia People

I love you guys, thanks! It seemed so daunting trying to figure it out. :)
But now I know exactly what to get.
