I've always loved these!! They sound so GREAT!!
I wish FUNimation had made music as good as this for the dub, but instead we got Rock the Dragon.

Never heard the GT one before.
Obviously in a completely different league from "Step into the Grand Tour". Also, while I like Dan Dan, this might be more fitting, though I don't know the lyrics to make that call.

Re: Dragon Ball Italian Theme songs
I love these songs, though this is the first time I've heard the combo one too. This is awesome.
Did they do custom ending themes as well, or were they just like karaoke versions of the opening ones? And did they do anything similar for the movies and/or Kai?

Re: Dragon Ball Italian Theme songs
I'm going to be honest Giorgio Vanni really knows how to make italian anime openings sound good I wonder if these songs would sound just as good if he could sing them in english.
If anyone has any of the DB/DBZ/DBGT or Maho Tsuaki Sally Japanese single DVD's that they'd be interested in selling send me a PM and I'll see if we can work something out.

They are all awesome. To me they're as good as the Japanese theme songs.

Re: Dragon Ball Italian Theme songs
I actually like the Grand Tour more (if someone pulls the gun and points it on my head, with question about alternate DB openings). Italian openings sound like generic Eurodance that is played in amusement parks in Europe and I hate it with passion.
Every time I hear those, I see kids spinning and vomiting on merry-go-round and this playing loudly in background.

Re: Dragon Ball Italian Theme songs
As an Italian, i can safely say these are the best openings we ever produced. The Dragonball openings are really great, and each one fits the mood of the particular series.
Dragonball = Adventure and Martial Arts feel
Dragonball Z = Mysterious and Powerful, while retaining that Adventure feel in a more mature tone
Dragonball GT = Alien and Unknown
The only italian opening that comes close to this is the Lupin III one.
Unfortunately the good old days are gone, because nowadays anime openings in Italy freaking SUCK!!!
Try to listen to the Naruto italian opening, it's terribad...
And the fact that the lyrics have nothing to do with the world of Naruto doesn't help.

Re: Dragon Ball Italian Theme songs
If I were to rank the openings it would be in this order:
DragonBall
1.The Italian Opening
2. The Japanese Opening
Dragonball Z
1.The 2nd Japanese Opening
2.The Italian Opening
3.The 1st Japanese Opening
DragonBall GT
1.The Japanese Opening
2.The Italian Opening
And I just heard the Naruto theme song, and it's not that bad honestly. I also like the Pokemon openings Italy has made (especially the Battle Frontier opening).
