Kanzenshuu Conspiracies

Post by Kamiccolo9 » Thu Jul 11, 2013 11:30 pm

So, looking around some of the other Dragon Ball forums, I've seen some crazy stuff said about this site. Here's a gem I found via Google that comments on news of Battle of Gods on this site.
http://www.kanzenshuu.com/2013/02/28/go ... e-of-gods/
“The GT staff were careless like that too,” yeah just from that quote alone I can tell this is another bullshit quoe from tese guys,I can’t tell if it’s an honest mistake, extreme trolling or kaizenshu secrety hates dragonball like tfs does but in the end fix that,GT was written by akira toriyama,he lsot mystic form after he died. It’s asolid fact.
So, apparently "kaizenshu secrety hates dragonball." Who knew :P

Anyone else have any good conspiracy theories?

Mike is a secret government A.I.

Uh, well...there's this (if it counts).

I feel like as soon as BOG's dvd/blu-ray release date arrives that there's going to be another massive influx of this sort of thing. I'm sure there are people out there who still believe those photoshopped golden ssj4 Goku images are what ssjg looks like.

Not necessarily a conspiracy theory, but the false information floating about Twitter that Kanzenshuu is a physical DB official guidebook was curious to me.
On hiatus.

Here's another good one. Kanzenshuu is harming the fanbase by discouraging piracy, and the site is actually anti-Dragon Ball because the research for ScrewAttack's Death Battle supported Superman being stronger than Goku.

Wow, these people have poor excuses for hating kanzenshuu. They prefer false beliefs that suit there own benefit instead of facts. I wouldn't be surprised if they believed Dragon Ball Wikia is where they get there info.

I'm sorry to report that Insertclevername has been eliminated. From existence. Everyone else, please carry on.

I've seen a few about us having agendas about power/strength-related things. One of the most recent is that we haven't translated the entirety of the second DBGT Perfect File books because it somehow said or didn't say something about some character compared to some other character and it would have thrown the entire discussion into a new spiral because of this incredibly revealing and shocking information and I care so little about what the argument actually was that I can't possibly have any stake in the matter.

Wow, those threads...
You'd think fans of the franchise, no matter what dub, would at least appreciate and respect the original and just accept that Kanzenshuu is a site that goes by facts, not rumours and uses the Japanese names and terms as a general basis for everyone to understand.

It's not like we're going to lynch anyone for saying Spirit Bomb!

I guess it's a general insight into the average maturity of the fan base, unfortunately. Using correct grammar and spelling isn't exactly a huge requirement and as for those comments on foreign language users, I've seen plenty of leniency towards those who make errors. It's not like it's some Nazi regime in here!

Oh well, there's always r/DBZ for those people. A place where there was legitimately a thread titled 'My Time Travel THEORY' where they said they think that Trunks time travelling would mean that he creates separate timelines. The comments were full of people disagreeing or coming up with the most ridiculous things I've ever read. I'm just sat there like '...your 'theory' is explicitly made clear in the damn show'.

I wished him back to life with the Dragon Balls, duh. :P Everyone gets one. Next time will require human transmutation, so...yeah. He might want to play it a little safer now.

Maybe not, but I have to admit, there has been times in the past where it certainly would come off that way, depending on what threads you were in. :P I say this not to defend these people, or to try and drag up the past, but as a dub fan of old, I can certainly see where there would have been...issues...over time. Hell, the reason my account here is so old but I only actively used it somewhat recently, is because I for the longest time had a falling out with the choices and mentality of the staff and users here, so I just didn't come into the forum anymore (this all changed when I watched the Japanese version for myself and discovered that, despite me still liking the dub, 'Hey! The Japanese version really is awesome!')

That's why I can't really defend them though...if they don't like Kanzenshuu, they can just, you know...not come. Like I did. There's no need to go throwing crazy ideas around the internet. Pretty sure Mike and the rest have better things to do with their time than make crap up to discredit others. Those vidya games don't play themselves ya know.

Oh absolutely, we're certainly not accommodating of nothing-but-dub fans but I'd like to think at least the majority of us are at least on the surface, respectful of others' opinions when it comes to Dragon Ball. I know I recently saw a member praising Faulconer's score and admittedly, I did feel an itch of rage but at the same time, I understand that that's some people's preference and as long as they respect where the show comes from and understand its origins then I'm totally fine with that. It might not be a version of the show that I personally enjoy but hey ho, I'm mature enough not to call them out on it. I think that speaks me a lot of members here too and it would be nice if many fans understood that perspective of Kanzenshuu.

Rumor has it that if you play Julian's Japanese-language farewells in certain podcast episodes backwards, you'll hear a sinister hidden message.

And that's perfectly understandable, and nobody can ask any more than for one to try and be accepting of other people's opinions on the kind of things they like. :D There may be little snafus every now and then, a few disagreements and "flame wars" - hey, it's a forum, that's the nature of the beast really - but for the most part this forum chugs along in peace more-so than outsiders give it credit for.

Oh, and on conspiracy theories, let us not forget that the staff is totally holding onto the actually real manga and anime of AF, keeping it's greatness for them and them alone. They totally pay off Toei and FUNimation to aid in their hiding it's true existence from the world too. Totally.

I can't even read most of those negative comments due to the poor grammar/spelling.

...that is, if I even bothered to read the opinions of lesser fans. 8)

I'm kidding, of course!

As with what Gyt. Kaliba said, depending on the thread you're in, or the members you talk to, the site can certainly come of as unaccommodating to the dub fanbase...but, in the end, this is a site focused on the original Japanese. Still, the majority of the community is very respectful of others opinions, regardless of what side you're on. And in the end, we're all just fans of the series, and get along. That's the beauty of this forum. Heck, there are times when I've been in the middle of a heated debate with a member in one thread, yet in another thread we're on the same side and being all buddy-buddy. :P

I think part of it is that fans naturally dislike having some kind of "middle man" standing between them and the information they want, and also that they desperately want to be right. So naturally, when what we have available doesn't support their argument, they assume some sort of deliberate obfuscation on our part standing between them and whatever it is they just know will prove them right once and for all. The reality, of course, is that we're busy people with full-time jobs and social commitments and children, and we also don't care about whatever minuscule point they're arguing. I mean, Jake translated the power levels stuff because it's there, but that doesn't mean he cares any more than the other three of us about, say, which form of Buu is the absolute strongest, or who would win in a fight between Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta and Super Saiyan Vegetto. (And now I feel kind of gross just for typing that.)
