Are we ever going to find out about remaining Cooler forms?

As far as I'm aware, many sources state that Cooler is introduced to us at his fourth state. I have always disliked that "fact", simply because it looks so off. His past forms are a mystery until now, even with many games doing What-If Scenarios. What was the reason he transformed three times? A battle against Freeza?

I'm also wondering what do other people think about this, as Cooler is a pretty interesting character.

The fourth state is the species' true form, as in, the one they were born in. Freeza doesn't have precise control over his power, so he created the first three forms in order to limit himself. Cooler probably did the same thing, but he was able to train himself to have better control in his true form, which allows him to forgo the three limiting stages.

Basically, Cooler can control his full power, so he has no reason to limit himself like his brother did.

Yeah, we know Coola HAS 3 weaker forms, since he specifically said in the film that he can transform one more time than Freeza. But since he has better ki control skills, he doesn't need to use those forms to restrain his power.

Presumably, the forms would look kind of like Freeza's, but you never know.

He also mentions that he has trouble controlling the power of even his second form.

When Freeza is about to transform for the first time against Vegeta, Gohan, and Kuririn, he more or less says the reason he uses transformations is because his power in his higher form(s) is too much for him to control.

Doesn't he say something along the lines of "As you know, I'm in the 4th transformed state, but I found another beyond it," or something like that? I know it's in the dub, but I haven't seen M5 subbed in years.

The same goes for King Cold. Apparently, he only appears in his 2nd form. It would be interesting to see is final/true form, as some say he was the strongest of the three.

He can have 9,001 forms, it doesn't matter. He'd end up below Freeza no matter how many times he transformed.

Personally I wouldn't worry about the forms and instead focus on getting a name for this race already.

Acrosians arent the race's name. The Acrosians are from a filler segment of the DBZ anime.

I always thought Cooler never had any transformations and his '5th' form was just more or less a powerup of sorts. But I guess that's wrong.

I also think Cold doesn't have any forms whatsoever.

Neither do I. His supposed 'second form' isn't even identical to Freeza's; it has several key differences. Look at the legs, arms, the shoulders, and the height. Also notice their chests.

Maybe Freeza based his second form off his dad's true form? He seems to respect him somewhat, so maybe it's a homage.
