Is it possible Goku gained SSJ3 from Grand Kai training?

Okay I haven't watched Other World arc in awhile in subs. But I was on Youtube message with this hardcore DBZ fan who said

Goku got SSj3 from Grand Kai it's the only way. I know Grand Kai is filler but I honestly count him as canon. Didn't Akira Toriyama draw a universe globe and have him hold it? Here's why I think Goku got it while Grand Kai training. In the english dub it said 100 years before training with the Grand Kai. However Grand Kai said in Jap(Excuse him as he uses Jap. He doesn't know it's....racists) that in only a few years they can train with Grand Kai

So if that what the original JPN said as I'm taken his word for it. Is it very well possible that he learned while Grand Kai trained him. As Goku had to do great training to get SSJ3. With no one strong to fight s he most likely surpassed Pikkon after a year or two he needed that training. I don't think weight training will get him SSJ3.

Bonus Question: How do you think he even got SSJ3? What I mean is sure you can debate who trained him(Himself,King Kai, Grand Kai) but how do you think it happen? Did he randomly turn SSJ3 one day or did he turn into to it by accident?

Going by manga canon it would be during his 7 years in otherworld just like he gained SSJ2. I consider Grand Kai canon as he is mentioned in the manga, the anime just marked his first actual appearance.

No sense to me because nobody said that and there is no sign of it. When Grand Kai saw Goku strength, he evaded to train him at all costs.

For me, Kakarotto reached the Super Saiyan 3 by his own efforts.

Goku had no one in the Other World. His job was train, eat and sleep, nothing more.

I always think that the Other World is a very special place. No matter how often you train there, you will always become stronger.

I believe Goku reached Super Saiyan 2 and still felt he had an incredible amount of potential to go up another level. I think Goku increased the intensity of his training for the next few yrs. After a long training session, Goku felt extremely tired, but still felt like he had enough energy to continue training at a high level. He wondered why, since eating and sleeping was often the only thing on his mind once his training was finished. This day of training, however, was different:

Kaio: "Hmmm...still training? You're really something else."
Goku: "Kaio, I can't explain this feeling, but I can say I'm capable of putting out much more than this!"
Kaio: *Laughs* "I think it's clear you need to take a break. Your level of power is already the greatest I've ever seen, and yet you think you have the ability to put out even more power after this strenuous training? I thought I was the one who was supposed to be telling the jokes."

Goku: "Don't believe me? Well, I'd be lying if I said I was sure of how much power I'm capable of, but I suppose it's time to see for myself, eh?!"

*Goku begins to gather his Chi. The surrounding area is beginning to shake*

Kaio: "Wha wha....what are you doing? This Chi...is there any limit to Goku's power?!! Unbelievable....."
Goku: "Impressed already? I ain't even finished yet!!"

*Goku's aura increases and the power-up becomes even more intense*

Grand Kai: "It's him again. Just when I thought he was already unbeatable in this realm, he continues to gain even more considerable power. Kaio, you bastard!!"

Kaio: "Gokuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!! Stop at once!! Your power is too....ahhhhhhh! Goku, are you....?"
Goku: "Hehehe....no idea, Kaio."

*Goku stood with long golden hair and a powerful thunderous aura*

Goku: "Super Saiyan 3? Heh...I knew my training was incredible, but I had no idea I'd be able to get to this level."
Kaio: "Goku, your leaps in power are...are nothing short of astonishing!"
Goku: "I know. I'm still taken aback by this. But now that I'm aware of this power, guess it's time to learn some new tricks with it."

English Dub only. I think he said they will get the training "soon". Debatable on what "Soon" means but since Grand Kai training is suppose to be great I honestly think that's how he got SSJ3

Looks like I was partially right, assuming these were the only lines on the subject. Goku and Paikuhan's training definitely wouldn't happen in the 7 years between Cell and Boo, but not nearly as much later as I mistakenly thought.
