What's your favorite Super Saiyajin form?

The series has so many Super Saiyajin forms, so i decided to make this thread to see what you guys think!
SSJ1, ascended SSJ (SSJ stage 2), SSJ2, SSJ3, SSJ4 or SSJ GOD ?
i'll rank them ..

1- SSJ2
2- SSJ1
3- SSJ4
4- SSJ GOD
5- ascended SSJ
6- SSJ3

basically SSJ1 and SSJ2 are the same, but i like the aura SSJ2 has, i think it makes it cooler. SSJ4 is unique, in my opinion it looks better on Goku than Vegeta, i like the red fur on Goku's body, the eyes. (one of the few things i totally LOVE about GT)
SSJ GOD, it's kind Kaioken Goku .. but the color is kind different, his eyes turn to red, and his body gets thinner.

That's how i rank them, what about you ?

Super Saiyan 4 is my all time favorite form.

Super Saiyan God is my least favorite in terms of concept, but the design I dont really mind.

I'm not sure what my favorite is, but I'm fine with levels 1-3. Anything after that was just unnecessary.

I have a real strange love for SSJ4. There's something very aesthetically pleasing for me about it. I always loved the red of kaio-ken and the fancy hair of the SSJ so it feels like a nice mix, for me.
Following that, I'm into SSJ2 then 3 and then the classic SSJ. Nothing wrong with the standard SSJ at all but I much prefer way the others are drawn.

The original, by far. There should never have been anything above Super Saiyan 2, in my opinion. It got to the point to where every Saiyan (with the exception of Pan) could turn into a Super Saiyan. I'm just glad that they didn't create a new Super Saiyan form for Battle of Gods, but created a whole diffrent form.

SSJ3 is cool. SSJ2 is my fav though. Too bad Gohan got weaker during the 7 years after Cell.

I agree that any form above SSJ2 is unnecessary, i would like to keep the SSJ2 only for Gohan as a secret potential power of him that none but him can achieve it. but since the series continued with the forms, i don't mind it at all. especially if it was a unique one like SSJ4 (concept and design) rather than just a longer spikey yellow hair.

I would like to believe that if Gohan kept up with intense training courses during these 7 years, that he wouldn't NEED his Ultimate form, or how about SSJ2 Gohan being stronger than Goku so SSJ3 would have never happened?

I agree with those saying anything above SSJ1 is overkill...Considering you don't even need to be super saiyan to be a planet buster. ><

Absolutely. Super Saiyan (in vague terms) itself was a legend. And it sounded like to me at first, that Toriyama intended only 1 character (Goku) to be able to transform.

Not to mention ending the series after Frieza. That was Akira's original plan.

SSJ2 - Great Aura and Sparks. Very Underrated by Toei, Video games, and lots of media.

All of the Ascended Saiyans Forms. I hated them.

I was always really into SSJ3 because of all the physical differences it had from the other forms. Goku's aura is just really intense looking in SSJ3; I like how it is way brighter (turning his Gi into a light-orange color) and how it seems to have more of that blue lightning coming out than the other forms did. I just really like how it was portrayed as being so ''unstable.''

I also like that Toriyama had intended SSJ3 to feature a tail; I think it would have been a nice touch.

It would had played out well because the anime had Goku doing a greatape, Mini SSJ4, and Kid Goku thing when he zoomed into the eyes. But would't the tail be random . Though one can say that since it brings out all the hidden power of a Saiyan it should bring the tail back.

Definitely a toss-up between the original Super Saiyan form and Super Saiyan 4. The original form has the most iconic transformation moment to it's credit (the original one back on Namek), and it upped the ante in an awesome way, even if it was very quickly short-changed in the following arc. After that, SS2 and SS3, no matter how cool, just seem less unique. When SS4 came along though, and became it's own thing design-wise, it just felt, and looked, a lot cooler.
