Favorite English voice for Kid Goku?

I actually really like Stephanie's voice for Kid Goku. Sure, it's raspy, but I still like it.

For me, I go with Stephanie Nadolny.

Nadolny's Krusty the clown laugh and her unnatural inflections make me shudder, it's even worse than her Gohan. It baffles me why so many seem to love her, and some even dislike Clinkenbeard.

In terms of performance Clickenbeard is better than Nadolny. But I prefer Nadolny, because I just do.

A toughie. Henderson is too collected, Delgadillo too ordinary, Nadolny can't act to save her life, and Clinkenbeard's is too close to her Gohan. I guess there's also the Blue Water one, but I can't get a good bead on that one.

Most of the English Goku voices sound a little too smart and well-spoken to truly fit Goku's personality. But overall, I think most of them do a decent enough job. I'd have to say Barbara Goodson or Colleen Clinkenbeard probably do the better job for me.

I don't dislike Nadolny like some folks here, but I agree that her performance as Goku is hampered by the fact that she's trying to maintain that particular voice at all times, rather than trying to naturally let the emotions come out. I mean, listen to that laugh that she gives Goku. Not a natural-sounding laugh, it's very forced. At least it's better than her performance as Gohan.

But hey, after growing up on a forced-sounding English dub for DB/DBZ for years, I can't imagine many of the dub fans actually notice or care.

I'd like to see Clinkenbeard have more time in the role. I'd probably say her if that was the case.

Whoops. I read the thread title as 'Favourite Kid Goku voice'...

Erm, I guess Nadolny but only in GT... I just can't get into her voice in the original series.

Other than that, my fav is tied between Henderson and Clinkenbeard. I would have liked if Clinkenbeard deepened her voice abit for the role but all in all she does a fine job.

I don't mind that Clinkenbeard didn't differentiate her Goku and Gohan voice that much, the performances are different and her voice is natural sounding.

Delgadillo was way too soft spoken for Goku. To tell the truth, I didn't even care for her Dende.

Is Clinkenbeard Goku in anything but Blood Rupies and a Flashback? I only heard a bit of her Kid Goku.

Nadonly I still like as Goku but her Gohan was just shit. One of the worst of the old actors.

Nadalony. Nadalony's Goku has some flaws but it still has a charm to it that the other English Kid Goku's don't have. She sounded much better in Revenge of King Piccolo so I reckon she could really shine in a Kai styled redub of DB. Worst is Clinkenbeard, she's a great Gohan but her Goku is just ugh.
