Broli's aura (differences, colors, lighting, etc.)

Why is it that in movie 8 in his fathers flashback broly has yellow and pink aura?? was this just because of the lighting or is that him doing it on his own?? i just wanna know because IMO it looks better than green.

Sure: How come Broly's LSSJ transformation change the color of the sky and why does his energy seem to come from the surrounding area? Also, is his bubble shield part of his aura or just a signature technique?

Maybe, as he grew up, his transformations were under development. When he, as a baby, saved his father, he has the blue, "restricted" super saiyan hair, but with the blank eyes of his final form. His flash back to early childhood shows he had the bulk of his "legendary" form, but the eyes and hair of his base form (in color, his hair was styled like his super saiyan form, but maybe it was just short like that). Then, as a teenager, he has the regular SSJ form. Then, when he's an adult, his LSSJ form not only changes the color of the sky, but rips apart his normal SSJ body.

I'm not sure if the studio gave it this much thought, but it seems Broly's body is supposed to be as unstable as his mind. His energy is probably as scattered and distorted as his state of mind and he has to draw it in for almost every shot, just like he seems collected and calm just before he thinks of how to make someone suffer.

Maybe his energy was pink in that flashback and not just filtered for cinema purposes.

Yes. I was thinking the same thing , probably as a kid his aura was yellow and as a Teen it was pink and then as a fully grown adult it is green. I just wish there was some kind of OVA about brolys life and maybe a what-if with teen broly vs teen goku.

No...I hate when Fans overrate Broly due to the video games openings. I have no issue with Broly until he goes Bio Broly...which isn't really Broly.

They could of done a better job with his back story though. we only see one or two flashbacks.

Something they could have done differently is Paragus and Broli going to a planet and trying to settle down for a normal saiyan life. Then something goes wrong. Some alien kid moons Broli or Broli goes too far in sparring with Paragus and then he blows up the planet while barely bringing his father along. This repeats with with Paragus becoming less and less of a priority when Broli is done trashing a place until they set up on New Vegeta. This is where Broly figures out he loves a desolate, silent wasteland of a planet (or just planety debris/ asteroid fields) and where Paragus figures out he will never have nice things unless he can stop his son.

Just when Paragus is about to accept his fate, feeling some debt to Broli, he figures out New Vegeta is going to be blown up anyway (by a big freaking comet, the kind of lie fed about Old Vegeta) despite his son having mellowed out, the son of the King that left him for dead in a dumster is living on a lush, green, and vibrant world, and the eye he just had punched in won't heal.

Then the rest of the movie happens, but you might have to cut out some drunken antics and terrible karaoke, but at least there would be more back story.

But back on the topic of color, why is Broli's SSJ3 hair always even greener than his LSSJ form? I thought the discoloration was supposed to be from the control device. I think the game developers just assumed its part of his mutation and would escalate with his power. Or maybe the device restricts Broly's power and his power is what drives his madness, which would lead back to my thinking Broly's state of mind, transformations, and strange colors are all linked somehow.
