That's precisely why ordinary men pursue the concept of perfection, it's infatuation. But ultimately I have to ask myself "What is the true meaning of being perfect?" and the answer I came up with was nothing. Not one thing. The truth of the matter is I despise perfection! If something is truly perfect, that's IT! The bottom line becomes there is no room for imagination! No space for intelligence or ability or improvement! Do you understand? To men of science like us, perfection is a dead end, a condition of hopelessness. Always strive to be better than anything that came before you but not perfect! Scientist's agonize over the attempt to achieve perfection! That's the kind of creatures we are! We take joy in trying to exceed our grasp, in trying to reach for something that in the end, we have to admit may in fact be unreachable!"

THAT EXISTS. I pretty much quit drinking soda and that doesn't sound too good.

So I'm not the only one who notice. They really did shove that form down our throats though. But yea Asian food is amazing(Remember people India is apart of Asia as well). Which could be a nutshell of the movie.

Talk about the hype setting up the expectations too high.

I was hyped for the form, it turned out lack luster, but grew on me. I was hyped for an epic battle with the form, and I was once again disappointed. But that's just me.

I still hate the form  . Though the trailers was kinda misleading...but that belongs in the BoG topic.

Now with Birsu saying SSG for 99% of the movie I expected a nice fight or a more unique form.

Re: Pepsi-flavored Cheetos

I've heard of these and even seen a review on them; I hear they're actually kinda sweet-tasting. Not sure if I'd like them or not, despite enjoying Pepsi and Cheetos.
Honestly, what I'd really like to try in terms of soda from Japan is the Pepsi Salty Watermelon, or the Ice Cucumber Pepsi.
(I desperately miss the Pepsi from Mexico that I used to be able to find around here; they recalled all of it a few months ago because they were going to redesign the bottles and I haven't been able to find any since. That type uses actual sugar instead of high-fructose corn-syrup; no sticky after-taste and a way better boost.)

Re: the video, and "Super Saiyajin God"

Weirdly, my original reaction to first seeing the form was not-very-impressed, and I think it was because I expected what a good chunk of fellow fans also expected, minus the ssj4 fur (I even had a drawing I made for it prior to actual ssjg being revealed; it had a mix of ssj3/ssj4 blonde hair, eyebrows, and golden irises; also a really flashy gi and the muscles were ssj3-type).
But then I got a chance to actually draw ssjg Goku and it made me realize what an unsuspecting gold-mine of adorable this was and I've been playing with it in my comics since.

I honestly think a lot of the unusualness about what we thought we'd get and what we got lie with a mixture of Toei's marketing department, and the fact that Toriyama re-wrote most of the original version of the script so there's things from the first version of BOG that mesh kinda weird with the revised version of BOG. Completely restarting from scratch may or may not have fixed it, there's no way to tell. In the end I really did enjoy the movie a lot, but I desperately wish they'd spent more money on the animation. Poorly CGI'd Capsule Corp makes me sad.
On hiatus.

Bills and his obesession with "Super Saiyan God" kinda reminds me of Broly with "Kakarrot!"

Maybe they tried to recapture some of the Broly lightning in a bottle by having an extrememly powerful enemy that uses one word or phrase constantly, but is a bit more well-spoken than Broly.

Also Paragus was Broly's mouthpiece just like Whis is Birsu's.

Orange Chicken is where it's at! Yakisoba and Gyozas are also really good.

Except Bills became the best thing out of Battle of Gods. I could see him as a main character with his personality. When he gets in trouble he can just eat some Wasabi and go apesh*t on the enemy.
