Dragonball-themed Mini-fridge

Post by Godo » Sat Nov 02, 2013 10:45 am

Wow, it seems like ages since I started a thread!

Well, I got my hands on a mini-fridge.

The mini-fridge itself is a display case of snus (which is a type of tobacco product which is placed under the lip, most prevalent in Scandinavia, and it is also produced in the US).
Since snus needs to be refridgerated to keep it's moisture, they are displayed in a mini-fridge.
These can be bought by the sellers from the snus companies by predominantly stores that are resellers.
Well, I got my fridge (for free!) from one of those stores.
Initially it was a display case for Camel snus, and can contain 20 boxes of snus or two 0,5 L PET boxes.

So I had this poster from ages ago that had started being roughed up, and I don't have any place to hang it up anymore, so I decided to cut it up and change the original display sleeves with parts of it.

End result:

All in all I am pretty content with the results! :D

And yes, I am using it to keep my snus refrigerated next to my PC for easy access (important when you are gaming and lurking on Kanzenshuu).

If you manage to find a similar type of mini-fridge and already have a poster, then it will take roughly 15 minutes to open the displays up and cut the poster and switching the former sleeves.
Also they are usually not that much expensive if you buy them, though many stores have a lot of old ones from before, so if you ask nicely or know someone you can achieve one.
The problem is finding ones with plastic panes and switchable sleeves, though.
