I would say that. But I don't know anything about the fighting system of Zenkai and if it's just as much a button masher as Battle of Z.

Button masher or not, atleast it looks much more appealing to watch than BOZ will ever be, also the fact that the combos have multiple endings, along with 3 supers, It seems to be a much better game, tool wise.dbzfan7 wrote:I would say that. I'd say too that ZBR looks more appealing to the eye than BOZ but since ZBR is a Japan-exclusive it's hard to tell how good it is.
Namco Bandai should release Tenkaichi Tag Team for the home consoles because the game's pretty spot on, except the voices and music it's too limited.

Zenkai Looks more appealing to me in terms of graphics/character models, but ultimately I just wish it were ported so i could see how good/bad the fighting system really is.

ZBR does not seem a whole better then BOZ to be honest. I think both of them will be meh at best.

I'd say BOZ, actually. ZBR has a tiny roster, no ingame transformations (except for God Goku's schtick and Gohan briefly turning Super Saiyan 2) and as far as I know you can't vary the amount of people fighting either. All it has is deeper combat, which I haven't had a chance to actually experience.

BoZ doesn't have in-game transformations either, and it only has one combo by pressing Δ 5 times (no charging hits), and can only fire 3 ki blasts in a row (no charging here either).Saiga wrote:I'd say BOZ, actually. James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

I am aware of all of those, I meant to say it's just like BOZ in having no in game transformations. And even though BOZ has no melee depth, I still think it's a lot better than ZBR.DBZGTKOSDH wrote:BoZ doesn't have in-game transformations either, and it only has one combo by pressing Δ 5 times (no charging hits), and can only fire 3 ki blasts in a row (no charging here either).Saiga wrote:I'd say BOZ, actually. BUT I will give credit to BOZ for being creative with the costumes. Pajama Boo and M9 Satan would always be welcome additions to me.

Hasn't there like, been a 1v1 mode for a while now?Saiga wrote:I'd say BOZ, actually. Re: Zenkai Battle Royale vs Battle of Z
If it weren't for ZBR then BOZ probably wouldn't even exist because ARTDINK would have not thought of it themselves, they're like Spike but possibly even worse (they made a game with about 300 characters and out of those they play alike).Saiga wrote:I am aware of all of those, I meant to say it's just like BOZ in having no in game transformations. Zenkai Battle Royale for sure has much better and nicer graphics than BOZ will ever do.

Re: Zenkai Battle Royale vs Battle of Z
I honestly never saw why people thought ZBR looked great. The gameplay still looks highly restrictive. I'd say both are equally unappealing.
Vegeta: "Funny... I seem to recall Kakarot being fed the same information right before he transformed; the distinct look on your faces when he went Super Saiyan didn't exactly inspire confidence. One does not predict or calculate power like ours."

I don't know, I've seen nothing of it. Would be great if there was though.Quebaz wrote:Hasn't there like, been a 1v1 mode for a while now?Saiga wrote:I'd say BOZ, actually.
