Dragonball tapped out?

Post by Revolution » Mon Nov 11, 2013 8:20 pm

I play the App Store/play store game The simpsons tapped out daily and it's a joy to play and have story lines to interactive with from one of your favourite shows and I was thinking about how it could be applied to DB in a similar format.. You could have Senzu beans as the premium currency and you could have the mystery box as the seven Dragonballs giving you the chance to grant a "wish" where you get given a free gift from the game to help you progress or decorate your land.

If you play or know about the tapped out then let me know your feelings on a game similar to The Simpsons Tapped Out with a Dragonball theme.
Frieza?! .. You fool!!!!!

I was totally expecting a thread about the creative bankruptcy of recent Dragon Ball games not a reskin of a Simpsons phone game.
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

Well played.

Anyway, if such a game were to exist (I have no idea what the chances are since I don't know if the likes of Tapped Out and Smurfs' Village are popular in Japan) I would probably play it. And while both aforementioned games are cashgrabs designed to exploit the general human lack of patience, neither are awful so a DB rehash of them couldn't be terrible.
