Dragonball: Dawn of Olympus

This is my first fanfic and I haven't really focused much on the title yet so apologies for the poor title.. Any constructive criticism is welcome!
This just an introduction that's being formed so far, at some point I'm going to include a martial arts tournament or at least a close representation of that into a first Olympic Games, in amongst a developing storyline.. Let me know what you think, be gentle!! :)

**the dialogue is something I'm not entirely happy with so again suggest are welcomed! :)

I hope you like most of it!:

"bbbbbrruurrgh" was the sound rumbling from Diēus' stomach.

He rubbed it attentively through his soft, white toga. 'What's taking that fish head so long?' He pondered as his stomach rumbled again, it was getting louder each time and was sure to continue with more frequency until his brother returned home, hopefully carrying the normal standard of a huge portion of freshly caught sea creatures.

'Click!' Diēus looked at the Door in relief as his huge sibling stepped through it.

"Sei! You're back!" Diēus roared jubilantly, pumping his fist on the table his relief taking a physical projection.

Sei trudged into the room. His black shaggy hair had been pushed back out of his face. He had a huge satchel hooked of his shoulder it looked almost as long he was. He must have really put all that time to good use after all.

"Hot out their today 'Sei?" Diēus smirked as he noticed his usual olive skin was a sore red colour, his skin seemed to have blistered in few places on his body; a few on his forearms, a couple on his neck - sore, he definitely looked sore.

"Ha! You know you'd think an appetite would subside a bit when you do nothing all day?"

"Ahh but you forget! I do live with you remember? That's hard work enough"

"Still try not to get so excited and nearly break the table when I get home from the next fishing trip eh D!?" 'Sei chuckled to himself heaving the enormous bag up to sit upon the old wooden table in the centre of the room.

Diēus had accidentally felled a tree a few years back during one of his vigorous training sessions and decided to put the wood to good use. It was certainly strong; the loads of food it had coped with in the last few years with their big appetites was unreasonable to say the least.

"Anyway! Don't change the subject Sei! What got you looking over cooked?"

"Whoa" Diēus marvelled at his brothers takings.. Forget his skin condition! Diēus had to pick his jaw up off the floor. The entire table - every centimetre - was completely covered. All varieties of sea creatures spilled up and over the table; crabs, squids, all different varieties and sizes of fish ... [to be edited], eels...

'Bbbrruurrggh' his stomach almost sounded as if it was begging now as it waited for the last few crabs and a couple more fish to flop out of his bag to complete the small mountain of soon-to-be-sea-FOOD that had formed on the sturdy table. It was crowned by a glorious lemon shark.

"brother!"

"Yes?"

"I have to say you astound me every time you bring your catches home" he wiped the drool away that had started to hang from his mouth below the greedy stare that had locked on to the small shark at the top of the pile.

"Thanks! If you didn't have such an enormous appetite I doubt I'd get such plaudits to be honest, so I guess I should be grateful"

"So what's with the burnt skin?" he grumbled.

Diēus was mucking in now, helping Sei prepare all the food, chopping and gutting where necessary. Sei gave him a wry smile as he began sorting the different species' from the table into several big wicker baskets set against the wall.

"If it wasn't for what actually happened I probably would have gotten all about this by now" he explained examining his hand, holding out in front of him giving Diēus a good view too. He screwed his nose up frowning at it and quickly dipped his hand into a bowl of water sat on the side.

The results from just doing something as simple as getting just his hand wet was as breathtaking as ever. His red skin started to simply fall away from his body and disintegrated into millions of little pieces, now just flecks of dust in the air occasionally catching the small ray of sunlight that was creeping in from between the door and the wall.

His skin had now turned back to its usual olive colour, just a slight tan remained

Don't get me wrong, this sounds to be the beginning of an interesting story. My only problem is....it really doesn't relate to dragonball...like at all. I'd suggest giving us a prestory of their origins, what time period it is, and what it has to do with Dragonball. Otherwise it'd honestly be just another random story.

Yeah I hear what you're saying, that's something I have thought about to be honest I just wasn't sure about whether I should be tying it in throughout the story but I guess establishing that link and feel to it earlier on is better! Thanks for the input! :)

EDIT: I'm working ok some stuff now! Should be a lot better with more DB universe involved! I know I'm not gonna have people waiting but.. I should have something new this week :)
