Raging Blast 2 Original Soundtrack Overseas Version

Post by AnimeMaakuo » Fri Jan 10, 2014 1:56 am

So, last week I decided to break the seal of Raging Blast 2 Original Soundtrack Overseas Version LACA-15111. As some of you are aware by now, this CD was a sample version given out to composers and game developers in 2011, and was not formally/officially released. If anyone has any questions or input, please don't hesitate!

- This is what h2oness had to say in regards to my inquiry:

- The album does in fact appear to be a "loaned sample"

Soppa Saiyjins from Dorgou Ballru Zetto is my favorite transformation everah, especially when Trounksoru did it in front of Seru and when Bejita did it when he faced Jingonigen-hachigo. But for real, I use the FUNi pronunciation. - Soppa Saia People

How much did you pay for this, you crazy man, you! :D

I saw it for sale on eBay, and the completion in me who desires clean, high-quality rips of all Kenji Yamamoto's music had me actually wanting it despite the price. But I really can't justify whatever crazy amount that was for a mere 24 songs (which I've never even heard before). I'm glad it was a fan here who got it. Now the CD is safe and in the hands of a true Dragon Ball fan where it belongs. :)

Hi! And thank you! Unfortunately, the seller wrote down the wrong price ($300 USD), so I ended up paying $1,000 USD.

No! Nope! Nicht! Nei! Nein! Not! Never! Ever! D:
*Cries from the thought of you spending that much*

You should not have had to pay that much....... He Listed it for that price, and you bought it. That's not right, and I'm pretty sure illegal...Right?

It's nice that a Dragon Ball fan owns it so it's in good hands now but... I'm sorry to say paying $1,000 for it is just absolutely ridiculous because those exact tracks are on the game and can be ripped to FLAC (uncompressed audio files).

Raging Blast 2 had a great soundtrack with catchy songs but the thought of someone paying so much for it would never actually come to my mind.

Are the audio files originally lossless on the game disc? If not, then it's still lossy no matter how you rip them. Also, my guess is that all the tracks are mixed differently on CD like they did with the soundtrack of Burst Limit.

$1,000 for one copy of CD is nearly insane, but part of me thinks that it's not too much for something that none of other fans around the world will ever have. In addition, I know some early Japanese CD releases of Pink Floyd that are priced as much as this.
