Did I miss my chance to unlock Yi Xing Long in Budokai 3?

I was unlocking the characters on Goku's DU and I unlocked all of them except the SSJ4 Goku, Broly and Gogeta, After I read that you had to go to Bulma in West City, I had to go through Goku's DU again, but the SSJ4 capsule isn't there! Will it not come back?

Please help!

I don't think you really missed any opportunity because I don't think there was one to begin with. If I remember correctly, I think unlocking the GT stuff in Gokuu's DU has to be done on a second playthrough.

I did do that though. :\ I wouldn't have been able to unlock Broly if I did it on my first playthrough.

Weren't you supposed to use the Genki Dama on Boo to be able to later unlock Super Saiyan 4? Or was the Internet lying to me?

To get Gogeta SS1 and SS4, Broly, Omega Shenron and SS4 Goku follow these steps:

In the 2nd(or 3rd or whatever) playthrough of Goku's DU Before you become Vegito search around the desert until you find Kibito Kai. He'll say he can sense an evil power other than Buu. Then proceed to fight Buuhan as Vegito and also Super Buu inside his head. Then Goku will go off alone to find the source of the evil ki. Before going to the red dot search the small islands at the bottom righthand corner of the map and you should see a "???" which will give you SS4 for Goku when you go there. After that go to the red dot and fight Broly and win to unlock him. Then after that go see Bulma in West City BEFORE going to the red dot. She'll tell you about the Dragon Radar not working. Then proceed to the red dot and fight Gotenks and win to unlock SS1 Gogeta. Then you'll have to fight Omega Shenron and beating him unlocks both him and SS4 Gogeta.

Note: You need to have all 7 Dragonballs to get SS4 Gogeta and Omega Shenron

Also you can alternatively unlock SS4 Goku by going to the same island right before fighting Uub. However to do it this way you'd have to progress through the story normally and kill Kid Buu with a Super Spirit Bomb and get "Attack Win" and you also wouldn't be able to get all those other characters this way. Or you could just wish for the Breakthrough Goku capsule to access SS4.

And as a bonus I'll tell you that you can unlock Kid Goku by going to Grandpa Gohan's house right after beating Raditz during your 2nd playthrough.

You also need to have the SUPER SAIYAN 4 CAPSULE for GOKU. That is MANDATORY to enter West City to fight him.

You can never permanently screw up unlocking a character in B3. If you somehow shit up a in DU, prerequisite just finish that particular DU playthrough and try again the next time. You can try an infinite amount of times.
