Also, it seems that the American version will be released on June 29 according to Gamestop.

So there's only six characters? I hope the fighting mechanics are really amazing, and you can get a lot out of the other modes. Otherwise...ehh. But I still want to check it out, at least.

Well, lots of characters doesn't automatically mean "good game". Besides, who ever plays as Dodoria or #19 in the Budokai games? (And I know that some smart arse is going to pop up now saying that Dodoria is his favourite character. But the person who does that is quite obviously a fool).

I'm assuming that the lack of characters is more due to cart space than anything. And if you had to pick 6 characters, those 6 do make the most sense (as much as I would have liked Kuririn to be in there).

And at least they aren't doing the old PS1 game trick of having 5 different versions of Goku all be "different characters".

Looking over the whole site, I'd say that the game will have more than 6 characters. Look on this page, at the bottom left picture. That's pretty obviously a character selection screen. A character selection screen with lots and lots of question mark slots. They have to be unlockable characters, which are...completely expected from a Japanese game.

There's obviously more than 6. But Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Freeza, Cell, and Piccollo are confirmed. Check IGN or something, they might have more info.

Go to Jeux-France.com and search for Buku Tougeki. They've got pictures of Dr. Gero, Android 18, Kuririn, Fat Buu, and Super Saiyan Gotenks.

And go to Gamestop.com, they say there's 13 characters.

Ah, coolness. For a series like Dragon Ball, only six characters out of like dozens of fighters would be pretty suck. I admit that I didn't browse the site thoroughly.

Hooray for Ginyuu! I definitely will check this game out just to play as him.

Ginyu would be very fun for me. Body changing, making the other loser who doesn't know the body swapping button combo play as Ginyu. Hurray!

How would Body Switch work? Kick the shit outta each other and if you're losing change bodies? Would the game know who won (ie: Ginyu in Goku gets played as Goku winning)?

Probably the same as in Budokai, the Gokuu model wins, but the point goes to "player 1" [if Ginyuu started out as player 1]
