List of extended and/ or new scenes in Battle of Gods:
- (1) New: Introduction is entirely different! It has an awesome recap with new animation of important scenes going from Bulma first meeting Son Goku in Dragon Ball through the defeat of chibi Boo!!
(2) Beerus waking up (just more antics)
(3) Beerus and Whis talking to the oracle fish (longer fly in before conversation and some additional dialogue)
(4) Beerus and Whis leaving their planet slightly extended
(5) New: Mr. Satan eating with Majin Boo and talks about needing more drink. There is a conversation between Mr. Satan, Dr. Briefs, and Gyumao. Bulma and Chichi also have some dialogue. Satan then starts promoting himself and Videl looks embarrassed.
(6) New: On Kaio’s planet Goku freaks out because he forgot about Bulma’s party (right before Beerus shows up...it’s a long funny pause after Goku’s freak out).
(7) Scene where Goku is in the house is briefly extended, adds Goku kicking his heels together like a little kid and looking excited as Kaio talks to Beerus
(8) Scene where Kaio and Beerus exchange pleasantries is briefly extended
(9) Brief extended by like a few seconds where Kaio smacks Goku for being improper.
(10) The scene where Goku asks to spar with Beerus is briefly extended.
(11) The scene where Goku goes Super Saiyan 3 is slightly extended by a few seconds making the exposition very cool.
(12) The scene where Goku actually fights Beerus as a Super Saiyan 3 seems to have the rapid punches extended but it may not have been it was longer by a few seconds than the home release scene.
(13) Scene where Kaio runs over to Goku after Beerus knocks him out in a single blow to the neck is briefly extended with a wide shot of the crater and Kaio running over
(14) Goku lying on his back and then talking to Kaio is extended by a little over a minute and he talks about wanting to know about Super Saiyan God, and says something about Vegeta.
(15) New: Bubbles reaches into Goku’s sash, pulls out a bag with a senzu, and gives it to Goku. Son then pops right up and starts talking, has a very determined look on his face, smiles and asks Kaio for advice. Then panning shot to the sky.
(16) New: after Kaio warns Vegeta of the God of Destruction and Vegeta is outside his training capsule and tells Bulma to be quiet, and then hears Beerus’s voice (that all was the same), Vegeta then jumps up and (this is new) begins looking all over the place for the source of the voice! He looks under food containers, the table and in the bushes and then sees Beerus over by the pool. It’s a great addition.
(17) When Beerus is break dancing there is a briefly extended scene where a clearly intoxicated Mr. Satan stands up, points at Beerus, and is yelling, it looks like he’s challenging Beerus to a fight. Mr. Satan, while Beerus is still doing a headstand, falls backwards passing out ostensibly from the booze. Videl rushes over, looking embarrassed, and Beerus laughs.
(18) Scene where Pilaf gang is skulking about the premises is extended to include them surreptitiously tip toeing around and walking with backs against the wall like Snake in Metal Gear solid, very funny. You then see the gang go into various rooms and throw items out of those rooms into the fall. The gang also uses some capsules opening up a boat, which breaks a wall. It sounds like those extended moments have new additional music.
(19) Scene where Pilaf is spray painting is extended to have him also drawing what looked to be a flower and other symbols after he did his Dr. Slump Poop drawing.
(20) New Pilaf gang antics: Shoo gets into an airplane and Mai goes around a wall with golden pillars, but then just go and find the diamond.
(21) Scene where Pilaf Gang is looking at Goten is extended by a few moments, just panning shots and a few extra lines.
(22) Slightly longer (few seconds) exposition of Mai revealing she had the 4 star ball
(23) Slightly extended scene after the reveal by Mai of the 4 star ball where Mai and Shuu are laughing and Pilaf’s jaw drops and tongue rolls out. Then awkward pause with wind blowing. Pilaf then turns around and starts yelling at Shuu and the Mai does the same. Pilaf then begins plotting something and Mai looks concerned.
(24) New scene where Pilaf spots the kids talking to Bulma about Trunk’s new girlfriend Mai and company.
(25) New scene where after Videl gets hit with a bullet, Kamesenin makes some gross comment kissy face and Bulma slaps the old man leaving a giant welt. Mr. Satan also seems to have forgotten that Dende is Kami-sama and Piccolo explains it to him.
(26) New scene added after the Videl scene, and before the subsequent Beerus scene where he is annoyed by the bullet on his forehead: the scene involves Trunks, Mai, Shuu and Pilaf. Mai looks concerned, and Shuu with sword drawn slowly backs away.
(27) When Piccolo loses at Bingo the scene is briefly extended to include him crumpling up the paper dramatically and walking away with cape billowing and Bee or Bay (Buu and Satan’s dog well mostly Buu’s I guess…either way…) runs over and picks up the piece of paper in his mouth as Goten follows closely behind.
(28) New scene where after Beerus and Whis walk over and look at the other food and then spot the pudding with Boo, and Whis speak to a chef
(29) New/extended: After Boo gets knocked into the water the fight is extended to include Boo getting out and countering, and then Beerus knocks Boo down in like 2 hits, the other fighters rush in. After 18, Tenshinhan and Piccolo are all summarily dismissed. Then it looks like Boo is saying something and then you see Chaotzu over by Ten and shout “Tenshinhan.” Then Ten begins to get up. Then Gohan, still in his Great Saiyaman outfit, exchanges words with Kuririn. Then Boo is again smacking more punches towards Beerus and Beerus grabs Boo atop the head. The scene then goes back to the normal cut with everyone running away and Mai faints, and then adds Goten grabbing Shuu and Pilaf. Then the scene goes back to the home released footage where Gohan is now in the orange doji and powers up and rushes in towards Beerus in air with Boo, and both are knocked out almost instantly.
(30) Scene where Vegeta flies up after Gohan and Boo are defeated is extended to include Vegeta telling edit: Beerus to follow him over to another area, Beerus does, and the two engage over a forest clearing. The fight seemed a little longer by a few seconds but not exactly sure where.
(32) After Gotenks fails against Beerus and after Vegeta fails a second time against Beerus and knocks Vegeta out with a poke, Beerus then begins building up his attack and stops and yells at Whis to come over who does after he gets his food and the two talk. After that talk a
New Scene is added, where rather than Beerus building up his attack again, he land and points at Oolong. Oolong then gets scared and freaks out; I assume Beerus is talking about eating Oolong. Beerus challenges Oolong to rock paper scissors. Oolong tries to back away and Puar stops him and says something. Yamcha then comes over and gives Oolong some advice. The rest of the crowd looks impressed with whatever that advice was. Oolong looks determined, and then agrees to do rock paper scissors against Beerus. The two square off across the pool facing each other, Oolong throws paper and Beerus throws scissors! Everybody looks scared. Beerus then goes back into the sky and begins attack to destroy the planet.
(31) After the group summons Shen Long and Beerus demands that Super Saiyan God be presented, a new scene is added where Dende is explaining the situation to everyone, and then Boo walks over to Vegeta and begins telling talking to him. I am not really sure what they are saying but it seems as if they are convincing Vegeta to let Goku become the Super Saiyan God. Everyone then starts clapping for Vegeta and Vegeta gets really annoyed. Bulma then calms Vegeta down.
(32) Scene where Goku becomes a Super Saiyan God is extended to include some dialogue from Vegeta to Goku as Goku lands; the rest of the scene is slightly extended with some additional dialogue from Goku and exposition before Goku and Beerus fight.
(33) When battle between Super Saiyan God Goku and Beerus ensues and the exposition dialogue and face off was briefly extended. The scene where Beerus catches Goku’s punch is longer two with the two talking back and forth. There is a pan out shot where a crater can be seen as a result of the blow. The crowd looks scared and Vegeta looks impressed.
(34) Longer exchange with light silhouette where Goku explains why he became a Super Saiyan God, after Beerus is incredulous as to why Goku would become a God if he did not want to this way.
(35) When Goku and Beerus fly off and some of the group get into a ship to pursue the ship has an extended scene where is expels extra items in the ship as if it is passing gas, oh Dr. Slump humor

(36) Goku crashes through some more pillars than in the home release version, right before you see the dinosaur
(37) New scene added where Whis somehow enters the ship[ holding some ice cream. Whis talks to #18, and professes how much he enjoys ice cream and all those in the ship are staring at him perplexed. Then see ship catch up to the group.
(38) New shot after the previous shot where Kuririn is shielding his eyes and talking to Vegeta. The cast is far away from the fight and all that can be seen are rapid shockwaves. Vegeta looks impressed.
(38) Hero song is the exact same no changes
(40) During the finale scene where Goku is in base form pushing back the attack, the pacing is longer with some added panning shots showing the areas of damage, it is very very minor.
(41) Final scene where Beerus tells Goku of Whis being the strongest fighter Beerus has ever faced and Goku being the 2nd strongest as well as the other information about the 12 universe and this being the 7th is unchanged from the home release.
(42) Scene where Kaioshin and Elder Kai talk about Goku and his character is extended to include the elder Kai discussing Vegeta as well. Kaioshin then looks surprised.
(43) Ending scene with Beerus hanging out with Whis at the end is extended to include more dialogue between the two…and a shameless Dragon Ball Kai plug!
(44) After the karate chop there is an added new scene of Beerus in his “pajamas” talking to Whis. Beerus finishes his sushi then drinks his cup and then goes to bed with Whis setting an hourglass alarm.
(45) Extended scene where it takes Trunks longer to grabs Mai’s hand, and after he does Pilaf runs over.
(46) Manga credit animation was shorter and had a different ordering.
I like that kind of stuff.
