Should I get into the DBZ Kai Blu-ray's?

Basically it comes down to a few things for me. Since I have never seen Kai uncut, my questions are as follows:

-How much "better" does the Kai blu-ray look in comparison to both the cancelled level-sets and the current cropped blu-ray sets of the original series. I ask this due to the thought that Kai looks more "modern" than the blu-rays of the original.
-How does the Japanese audio track sound on the Kai Blu-Ray? Is it TrueHD 2.0? Or is it TrueHD surround? I would like responses to be from people who actually own at least one of the sets so they can give their honest opinion on it.
-Also, does Kai skip right to the action the way it is advertised? Is it EXACTLY like the manga? How do you feel about the pacing, supposed cutting out of all filler, etc.

With all those questions in mind, me personally, I would hope that the visuals would be marginally superior in every aspect on a Kai Blu-Ray to its DBZ OS counterpart Blu-Ray. I would also expect the Japanese audio track to be a TrueHD 5.1. As for the pacing, I really am not sure if I would miss the filler or not. I feel like if I am going to buy DBZ all over again it better be a damn good upgrade and worth my money and time to watch. For me, these things haven't been confirmed one way or another which is why I have put off from buying them all this time. I guess with the upcoming Boo saga addition I am now considering starting the Kai collection but only if the Blu-Ray's can satisfy the bullet points above.

Q1 : It looks a lot better then the current blu-ray sets but compared to the canclled sets that depends on how much grain you like

Q2 : It's a 9000 times better paced then z wich to the end of the cell saga cuts 50% of the episodes from z but it does still have some filler here and there

If you want dbz closer to the manga in hd with a better script then get kai you will love it and never again will you want to go back to the old dbz

Yeah people say that but... I feel like for me it is impossible to never go back to the original series. But If that was the case then I guess I could stop buying the current blu-ray releases of the original DBZ. Also the script doesn't really matter much to me because I won't be watching the Dub because I can't stand some of the new voice actors. As far as voices and audio goes, I am more interested in the quality of the Japanese track on the Kai Blu-Rays.

Qualtiy of the Japanese track is fantastic. All redubbed so it's high quality modern audio. Some of the performances are a bit worse than their original Z one but they're great all around.

It's in 2.0 TrueHD quality as there's no 5.1 mix availiable. Sounds great though.

1) Dragon Ball Kai remastered looks what should've been done to Dragon Ball Z in HD form (with grain) but without any redrawn scenes at all, so it does look very nice indeed.

2) It's TrueHD 2.0 which means the Japanese audio is crisp and clean as you'd expect from any modern anime series nowadays. It's even better when it's played with the Yamamoto score rather than he Recycled score.

3) It's not really that faithful to the manga as it claims it to be but its pace is definitely quicker than in Dragon Ball Z.

The pace is perfect? It still had its tedious moments which they didn't bother fixing because had they done so it'd actually be needed to do all from scratch and Dragon Ball Kai was a rushed series.

Yeah, it sounds great but they underperformed possibly due to their ageing because when we compare the Japanese cast of Z x Kai we see that the Great Masako did a far superior voice work in Z, Wakamoto too and the others.

The rewarding part of Japanese audio in Kai is that it is clean and in stereo whereas the DBZ is only available with muffled quality (the Z series), but there's some people who have the Broadcast Audio though which I'd love to own it too.
