Saiyan Saga: Z Kikuchi vs Kai Kikuchi

I would like some opinions on which release has the better score. Since I can find few YouTube videos and no clips on Nicktoons and Vortexx with the replacement score for this part of Kai, I don't see how I can make audio comparisons myself without purchasing Kai Season One with said score first.

In the Saiyan Saga, the Kikuchi score is placed more carefully in Z, but has more, how should I put this, tonal and melodic variety in Kai. So, which in your opinion is more enjoyable (for the saga on its own; not taking into account the similar Kikuchi music usage in the rest of pre-Buu Kai)?

Z Kikuchi > Yamamoto Kai > Kikuchi Kai

I'm thankful that I own the Blu-rays with the Yamamoto score for the Saiyan arc to Freeza's arc because watching it with Kikuchi's score is nauseating.

Z kikuchi during the saiyajin saga is just amazing in my opinion. Also using quite a few tracks from dragon ball fits the arc really well.

I'm not the biggest fan of Kikuchi in Z but it was better there than in Kai simply because there was more variety. The Kai placement did improve during the Frieza saga though.
