I laugh... at the rapport of the characters, if that makes sense. There are lot of scenes of them just interacting and it's funny because you get to know them so well, even when what's said is not necessarily a joke. They feel real and fully formed; an extra kudos to the voice actors who take that up another level with the anime.

There are a few, but the one that immediately comes to mind for me is the English-dubbed version of the introduction of the Ginyu Force/Tokusentai in Kai. Their introductory screams were so loud and over-the-top (in a good, appropriate in the context of the scene kind of way), and combined with the equally over-the-top chorus of Chris Sabat singing "GINYU FORCE RULES, GINYU FORCE RULES" in the background.....that when Freeza went silent and there was that gust of wind that broke the silence....I just friggin' lost it.

To this day, it's the only version of that scene that has gotten a laugh out of me. I've smiled and even chuckled at it before (depending on the version), but that was the only version that got me to bust out laughing. In order for that scene to work in a comedic way, Freeza's awkward silence had to be justified, and I felt that was the version where it was justified the most.

I find a lot of Roshis scenes pretty damn funny. Off the top of my head, the first and funniest one that comes to mind is when he, 18, Yamchua and Bulma are flying around looking for Dragon Balls, when they hit turburlence and Roshi falls into 18s lap and right into her tits. He squeezes them and says he is just "testing the flotation device". She then twists his head and sends him flying into the wall.

Same thing goes for a lot of Mr Satans scenes.. the dude is just a classic goof.

That part from the 21st Budokai when the announcer says that before the first match begins, we'll have a word from the temple priest - then the priest (an anthropomorphic dog) takes the microphone... and barks.

What's even funnier is that I like it better in the FUNi dub, which I almost never prefer. In the Japanese version, the priest shouts "WAAAN" like it's a human word, but the FUNi dub has him bark like an actual dog, which really nails it for me.

Why does this scene make me laugh so hard? You'd think it'd be too stupid and predictable to get a laugh out of, but each time I get to that part I can't help but switch over to the dub, and it just makes me go into a giggle fit every time I see it.
