This doesn't seem to be true. Based on Dende's growth, it seems that Piccolo growing into an adult so fast is a special case, because he is a reincarnation of his father, Piccolo Daimao, and not just an offspring.

Yeah, the Dictator is a reference to Hitler, but he isn't Hitler. It's like saying that Major Metallic is the Terminator, or that #8 is the Frankenstein's Monster.

Not exactly. The end credits of the movie imply that Future Trunks also got his sword from Tapion (and his story was very different for obvious reasons), and there are video games that imply or directly state that Future Trunks got the sword from Tapion. Not to mention that the 2 swords look exactly the same.

@DBZGTKOSDH First of all, movies are not canon. Secondly, in Future Trunks' timeline there are not things like SSJ3 Goku etc.
I know that you can create many theories on this but really, movies are not to be trusted when we talk about the real story (manga).

Wait, it was? I seem to remember the animation going in line with that though, with Kaio popping in and out behind Goku...or was that just a humorous thing that just lent itself rather well to the dub line?

Eh, it's a little more on the nose than either of those were, I feel at least. Metallic totally looks like the Terminator, but nothing in his story suggests that he's a cyborg from the future. #8 looks like the Monster, but there's no hints, not even in the Frappe filler, that he actually is such a being. The dictator though? What little we're shown of him makes it pretty clear that he's pretty much a Hitler expy.

It's still not meant to literally be Hitler though, yeah.

I thought the name "Dictator" in Fusion Reborn was a name from Funimation. I do remember he was called Hitler in the Japanese version when I saw the movie subbed ages ago.
