Anyone want to see a DBZ game similar to Skylanders?

Do you guys think Namco Bandai will make a DBZ game similar to the Skylanders franchise? Skylanders and Disney Infinity is very popular with kids these days and I think it would be cool if they do a Heroes game similar to Skylanders. Even in Japan, Skylanders seems to be popular since the upcoming Kamen Rider game is doing something similar to it. I think this idea can work if they want to sell Heroes to America. Just think how much money Namco Bandai will make off this idea.

I'm not sure thats a good idea especially if so many other franchises have beaten them to the punch. I imagine the immediate reaction would be "oh look they're copying skylanders, how lame". Maybe it would be a fun game but I wouldn't know since I've never played a game like that and I don't see myself collecting small figures to unlock things in game, I already pay for dlc.

I'de rather they try and do something more original.

Maybe in Japan since they could tie it in to Heroes, but not here, especially since Skylanders, Disney, and now Nintendo, which are much bigger names (debatable) than Dragon Ball, have done it first.

It's not really "debatable" that Disney and Nintendo are bigger names than DB.

I was referring more to Skylanders being debatably a bigger name. Should've been more specific about that, sorry.

A Skylanders-like Shonen Jump game would make me really happy. But it probably wouldn't ever leave Japan...

Nah, I'm okay. Paying $10 to play as Janemba isn't for me.

Yeah, no thanks. If they make one, then I'd prefer that it were intentionally aimed as the children. I really don't want them to release an awesome game with tons of characters that you have to buy to play as when I wouldn't be able to keep up with even a small portion of the roster in this manner.

I've never liked skylanders or disney infinity specifically for the figure collecting... I'm already annoyed but somewhat submissive for outrageous DLC in regards to characters/costume swaps because the only difference is that the latter is not material and therefore cannot be lost as easily. In all fairness though, I am not the market for those types of games anyway... if one does get made I won't complain but I foresee it as being Asia only
