Did You Like Cell Saga Mr. Satan?

With the benefit of hindsight and Buu Saga character development, Mr. Satan became a beloved part of DBZ.

...but what about only the Cell Saga? When I watched Kai and the Cell Saga a year or so ago, I think I hated him more than I hated Cell. He and the rest of the planet completely spit in the face of Dragon Ball. They insulted and belittled all of Goku's and Tien's and everyone else's accomplishments. He was a weak, sniveling, arrogant piece of shit and took credit for all the actual heroes' efforts.

Yeah, I liked him from the get-go because his is funny. The way he attempts to pose as the world saver only for him to be thunderstruck by the reality of things actually going on there. And then he just keeps writing off everything as just a trick to not lose his face.

i liked him. yeah they disrespected the dbz characters, but who cares? once mr.satan saw who the z warriors were, he knew not to disrespect anymore.

he actually was the saviour in the buu saga. if it wasn't for him, Goku and vegeta would have died, since neither of them could convince earth to spare their energy

I had no problem with him.
He brought a real human like role into the series (well for the most part).

The first time seeing him was as Hercule.. I thought it was such a dumb name in my mind and his filler apprentices plus the reporter made me kinda hate him at the time. He's way more likable later on especially when he got punched by Trunks and trying to deal with 18. Oh and the whole dog with Buu thing is awesome. Oh and learning Mr. Satan was his name, I was like really?

I did not like Mr Satan in the Cell Saga at all. Like you stated at the end of you post.

Although in the Buu Saga, his character is fleshed out more, and he becomes much more likeable.

Yes indeed! I like the FUNi dub more so then the original, really the only character that makes me laugh out loud.

Yeah I liked him from the start. He's always such a laugh. I think it would have been awesome if he learnt how to fly. Surely he would have enough Ki.
