Dragonball Revenge of King Piccolo question
Hello my fellow Dragonballers! I just got a Wii U like a week ago? and I want to buy Dragonball Revenge of King Piccolo! is it worth it? Will I be able to play it with my Wii U controller? because that's all I have. also if anyone here would like to add me on Wii U I would love to have you on my friends list!

The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Re: Dragonball Revenge of King Piccolo question
I do like it a lot! Just pitty that it starts after the 1st Budokai.
I liked the visual and it's fun sidescroller. Only the versus fights outside the main story are somewhat, I don't know, weird, like something is missing.
Music is recycled from Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and 3, as the music wasn't included in game in Japan before.
So as I played it after EU version of BT3, some of those tracks little annoyed me.

Re: Dragonball Revenge of King Piccolo question
Here's my review of the game - http://www.kanzenshuu.com/reviews/reven ... g-piccolo/
I don't actually own a Wii U yet, but my understanding is that if you're playing a Wii game and the system switches over to the Wii mode, you are essentially and actually just playing a Wii - there is no more Wii U functionality on top of that (beyond going back to menus or something, I guess), and you'll need a real Wii Remote (or a Wii Classic Controller plugged into one) to control the game. I don't believe the Wii U Gamepad will suffice.
Could be wrong, but that's my understanding.

Re: Dragonball Revenge of King Piccolo question
Yep I can confirm that. If you want to play a Wii game on the Wii U it basically shuts off the Wii U controller and tells you to connect a Wiimote.VegettoEX wrote:Here's my review of the game - http://www.kanzenshuu.com/reviews/reven ... g-piccolo/

It's kinda like the home console version of Dragon Ball: Advanced Adventure but not as good and no, you'll need a Wii controller a Wiimote will do fine though if you have a Classic Controller or such then that's preferably better for traditional gaming.samuraix123 wrote:Hello my fellow Dragonballers! Hori's going to be releasing this GameCube controller (it connects to the Wiimote and it's recognised as a Classic Controller)..

I'd be lying if I didn't say this looks freaking awesome!
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:

Re: Dragonball Revenge of King Piccolo question
I did just pick it up a month or so ago, a little repetitive but still fun. I would get it if I were you, considering I bought it brand new for 15$ I would say it was definitely worth it. so between 2 trips to Starbucks or this game... get the game!
