European Ver of Budokai HD Collection have JP voices?
Just wondering if it does because I am thinking of buying it just for that.

Yes.
For Budokai 3, both the North American and European version had the options for both Japanese and English voice-overs. However, just like their respective original releases, Budokai is voiced in Japanese in Europe, while dubbed in English in North America. The very same reason I got a European copy. My only qualms with it is that the translation wasn't thoroughly revamped. The quality of the subtitles is... well, I can't say they're up to par with Simmons' work. It's like Anime Labs, only rated E. Another issue with the European version is that it suffers from the censorship it did back when it was released (blood replaced with dirt), while the North American version retains most of the original, mild gore. This was probably done because the EU version got the equivalent of an E rating in most countries while NA rated it T.

Any EU copy comes with the Japanese voices for Budokai 1 HD but honestly, since you guys got a much better cover if you can just get ahold of the disc and then add it to that Blu-ray case then it's the ideal solution because the EU cover is pretty mediocre. I envy that we didn't receive or had it as a reversible cover.

By the way, the EU version is censored (sorta like Kai) and the translation isn't Simmons-accurate but it's serviceable and you get the Japanese voices so the pros outweigh the cons.

Well, I don't remember the Budokai 3 cover back in the days in EU, as I have the Greatest Hits version,
but that Goku with that stick I remember being on the German release of Budokai 1 and it was that Goku that was one upon a time on US official DBZ intro page, from the Cell arc,
with characters in blue shade behind him and there were some that weren't even in the game.
Found it:

When I read about the censorship, it kind of turned me off about getting this. I expected the subtitles to suck though and it sucks their isn't any reversible cover either.
Oh well probably not buying it then?

Be careful because NA copies sold in the last year or so aren't reversible now either.
Beat it! And take your planet with you!
