Why doesn't Piccolo have kids?

I would assume that the original demon king Piccolo was more of the same type of Namekian Kami and Guru were which is the Dragon Clan Namekians. The new Piccolo is a warrior type Namekian so he more than likely lacks the ability to produce offspring.

The difference between Dragon-type and Warrior-type Namekians is more than just one of roles, but apparently it's actually biological, like the closest thing Namekians have to different sexes. Dragon-types have the ability to make Dragon Balls, heal, and reproduce, while Warrior-types lack those abilities but have stronger bodies and higher power levels to serve as protectors.

Kami was a dragon-type Namekian, and as essentially his evil clone, King Piccolo was one too. But when King Piccolo begat Piccolo Jr, he birthed him as a warrior-type instead of another dragon-type. So the reason Piccolo doesn't have any kids is because... he can't.

I figured Piccolo was a hybrid of sorts since he fused with Kami. I also thought Piccolo Jr pretty much was King Piccolo, or made to be as identical to the original as possible. I mean, he still shares a life with Kami even after the death of his father.

Well, this is flawed considering the fact that the original King Piccolo restored his youth and was still capable of producing children.

Your point was that they need to be old. Looking at his design he clearly isn't old by Namekian standards after he obtains his youth again.

Personally I do not see anything proving that warrior namekians can't have kids. But there is completely nothing proving that they can, so I'll just leave their biological difference as a grey area.

But what I think about why Piccolo doesn't have kids, is more determined by mutual agreement in this race, rather than possibility itself. While it's true he couldn't have have known about such things before visiting the planet namek, he surely got to know all of it after fusing with nail, and before that he was really too young, and too focused on obtaining power to even thing about such stuff.

We know for sure that :
- Creating a new being, requires to give up part of your very own life force, making you age more quickly, and possibly reducing own power
- Father can freely communicate with his son whenever he wants using telepathy, and is also aware when he is in grave danger, or at least when dies. - This telepathy may be a lot advanced, but we do not know about that.

Now I think that this race agrees on choosing one person, who seems to be able to live a very long time, and they most likely provide him with special waters (ki infused?) or plants (As far as I know they do not eat, but there has to be some goal in growing their plants), that allow to extend his life even longer.
This one person becomes a Kami for the entire planet, and is the only one, or one of the very few, allowed to have kids.

This allows for the protector of the planet, to immediately sense danger, and warn the entire, or at least definite most of it, about the danger.
What's more all other people can live longer without giving up their life force to create new people.
And also spares parents the pain of feeling their son's death also.

Of course this is 100% guessing etc. But it makes a lot of sense in my head.
