Discussion regarding any musical aspect of the franchise, from game soundtracks to BGM to remixes. Upcoming & classic CDs, reviews, where to find them, and more!
I wanted to start a thread about everything regarding the music in Xenoverse, so here we are!
Btw, I`m really loving the music so far! It seems to have higher production value than the other recent soundtracks. I love the "Create-A-Character" theme, which sounds like the Sims theme, with a little bit of Cha La mixed in!
Does any of you think a CD will ever be released?
Also, do you know who composed the music for the game?
I don't remember any of the composer names, but there's 3 guys that do it. They show up in the credits. It's amazing. Can't pick a favorite theme, I love them all.

And yet I've seen some complain elsewhere that its not kikuchi for goodness sakes give kikuchi a rest I mean we finally have a dbz game with an actual ost not an international one and a Japanese one
Really digging the soundtrack for this game, even though I've never actually played it. Sadly, I don't have a system that I'm able to play this on, but I've been living vicariously through the guys at TeamFourStar and their play-through videos with the legendary Dumpling. Anyway, the soundtrack; I'd argue this is some of the best we've heard from a Dragon Ball video game in a long, long time. There's something incredibly grand about it, like it's a reflection of the story-heavy nature of the game. Each individual piece feels like it's been composed to serve a purpose, rather than just fill in as generic battle themes or something. There's some really ominous-sounding stuff in here, and I'm absolutely in love with the up-beat Toki-Toki City theme.
The song when Goku first turns Super Saiyan is probably one of my favorite DB ones ever, not just for XV. You'd have to be dead inside not to get pumped for some ass kicking while listening to it.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.
How the Black Arc Should End (by Lightbing!):
Spoiler:
Absolute Zamasu(my name for their fusion) wins. He fulfils his utopia and dwells in his loneliness(x amount of time for this to happen). He starts to doubt of his achievements, Goku's body influences him to seek out challenges but there's nothing. Perfection becomes a curse. Absolute Zamasu starts to dread his existence and presents himself to the Omni-King, detailing on his actions.
Using his powers the Omni-King restores everything to the moment before Goku and Vegeta perish, humanity's last barrier. Zamasu concedes. He ask for forgiveness(mainly to Goku, Gowasu and Trunks) and understands that his justice isn't justice at all. He asks for judgement and the Omni-King delivers.
Trunks is forced never to travel in time ever again, all the time-machines are destroyed.

How did Flow's Japanese version of Cha La Head Cha La get over here twice?! I thought the English version in Battle of Gods was a whole big legal thing. Yet two games contain the original version. I fail to see the logic in this. Does anyone know or have a good guess?

It was cheaper for BN to use. That's it.
