Babidi & Buu cameo in Boyhood

That's right, the track "Babidi & Buu" from the Faulconer score makes a prominent cameo in the film alongside a clip of Buu terrorizing innocent people. This has probably been mentioned elsewhere, but I figured I would mention it in the music forum.

You should have posted this in the general discussion, there's some interesting stuff. Just to clear this up you can't really hear any music, there's a clip shown on the television briefly, you can then hear the dialogue slightly off-screen, listen closely enough and it's just the same clip repeating with Babidi saying 'Where do you think you're going!'.

The episode featured is 'Global Announcement' (US Ep 226 JP 241), the DVD was released 12th March 2002 whereas it aired September 19th 2002. Boyhood began filming sometime 2002, it's really spot on. There are also 2 different DBZ posters featured and a bedsheet.

I saw this movie back in December. These were my favorite moments of the film. And for those asking, the part where the kid is watching Z is so short that it isn't worth uploading a clip. It merely shows him watching it and a man falling to the ground after being crushed by Buu's fat, then it turns to the door where the mother walks in. It really isn't anything to YouTube. The movie is excellent, however, and is made better by the DBZ posters it features.
