Shisami managing to land even one shot at Piccolo is BS
I know piccolo was tired from fighting of hundreds upon hundreds of soldiers but really? Someone who is on par on strength with Perfect Cell despite being winded and tired out was defeated by someone along the lines of Zarbon and Dodoria? I would understand if they made Shisami some genetic super soldier freak experiment or something to give an explainatjon to how he could defeat someone with a power level in the billions scale as one around 20-30k... But there's none at all

He was punched, not defeated.

Still to see piccolo get knocked down by a Frieza soldier is stupid considering he's millions of times more powerfulMarco Polo wrote:He was punched, not defeated.

I don't think Shisami is as weak as Zarbon. Gohan had to become a Super Saiyan just to take him out. He probably got a power-up from training or something.

The nerve of him! A punch! During a fight no less!!
Piccolo was tired, it's not unlikely that a punch can be thrown and connect.

But that begs the question of how Freeza's army has someone that powerful in the first place. Remember that Shisami was already in Freeza's army when he was revived and that both him and Tagoma were supposed to be around the same level... and we know what happened to the latter of the two.Super Saiyan Turlast x4 wrote:I don't think Shisami is as weak as Zarbon. Re: Shisami managing to land even one shot at Piccolo is BS
So basically piccolo got punched and hurt because apparently he got exhausted cos he didnt train anymore? So he was losing energy at a furious rate?Either that or piss poor writing.
The exhaustion thing makes no sense considering how much energy he was projecting. He was only koing them from what I've read and considering how weak they are he shouldnt have lost much energy. So that red guy hurting piccolo is poor writing.

Yes he was. There was a clear shot in the trailers of Piccolo falling down after a punch.Marco Polo wrote:He was not 'knocked down' either.SSJsambosoldier wrote:Still to see piccolo get knocked down by a Freeza soldier is stupid considering he's millions of times more powerfulMarco Polo wrote:He was punched, not defeated.

Re: Shisami managing to land even one shot at Piccolo is BS
Someone who is on par with Perfect Cell ??? WTF ?! During Cell Tournament, Goku clearly stated how Piccolo was useless against Perfect Cell and 7 years later even if he is better it's the same. He is OS by Dabra (Perfect Cell level) who think he is as useless as Kibito. He shit on his pant against Kaioshin stated to be far weaker than Dabra. Even Daizenshu implies the huge gap between Piccolo and Kaioshin. All this is STATED in the Manga.
And now you have the confirmation with Fukkatsu no F.
Shisami gave Piccolo some problems.
Although he was finally totally OS by Ss Gohan.
Stop it right now. You're in deep denial.

I believe that the people who already saw the movie stated that they traded blows and Piccolo proved to be unable to take him down, which is why Gohan had to be the one to do it.Marco Polo wrote:He was punched, not defeated.
So, it wasn't a punch either.
Shisami proved that he was able to match Piccolo. And Piccolo becoming significantly tired after fighting fodder that even Roshi can defeat doesn't make any sense.
He probably isn't Perfect Cell level but he probably is Imperfect Cell level.CortoMaltese wrote:Someone who is on par with Perfect Cell ??? WTF ?!

Somebody is a strong as Piccolo!? Blasphemy!
But seriously, it already been revealed through spoilers of the movie that Shisami and Piccolo trade a few blows before Piccolo realizes he may be outmatched and then Gohan arrives, turns SSJ and one-shots Shisami. That's pretty much it.

Yeah, I'm not sure what to think about Shisami at this point.Doctor. wrote:But that begs the question of how Freeza's army has someone that powerful in the first place. This might seem odd, but I'm starting to compare this to Piccolo's training with Goku and Gohan. Way shorter, of course, but perhaps Shisami always had the potential to grow quickly in power. I'd say his level around Zarbon or Dodoria was enough for him to stay relevant, but once Freeza was brought back, he had to improve.
I came up with that on the whim. I'd actually be fine if it played out like that.Freeza: "Hohohoho. Perhaps I'll have fun with this training. It's different, but that isn't a bad thing!"
Shisami: "Um...Lord Freeza, will we reclaim our throne as the most fearsome force in the universe?!"
Freeza: "That depends. I know I'm going to become the strongest in the universe once again, but I'm not sure about you guys. After all, look at the pathetic state you were reduced to while I was gone. Not what I'd consider reliable. Hohoho...."
Shisami: "Yes, we had no direction. Now, with you back, that should all change!"
Freeza: "Shisami, is there something you want? I'm busy."
Shisami: "I was getting to that. Lord Freeza, please allow me to serve you as your strongest henchmen!! I promise to crush all of our enemies! Especially these Super Saiyans."
Freeza: "Hohohohohoho. Do you have any idea of what you're saying? Two of these Super Saiyans contributed to my demise, yet you believe you can crush them? With that tiny Battle Power?! You must be dreaming."
Shisami: "I'm a bit better than that!! I've never felt the need to demonstrate all of my power, but now would be the best time"
*Shisami begins to power-up"
Freeza: "How interesting. You have more power than I thought. Nothing too impressive, though. Someone like you might've had a chance to join the Ginyu Special Force in the past, but now you just have a level that's somewhat better than average."
Shisami: "Please...allow me to train with you. This isn't only for me, this is for the longevity of our force. Powerful warriors accompanying you to eradicate these Super Saiyans would only be a good thing, no?"
Freeza: "I never trained at all, and you're asking...hohoho..me to train you?
Shisami: "If you're that confident in usurping this Super Saiyan, I believe you have what it takes to help me gain power, too."
Freeza: "Very well. You seem eager in growing. Of course, when someone as incredible as myself is in your sights, I can see why. Hohohohohohoho......"
Freeza: "Just understand this: your growth is entirely on you. If you waste my time, I won't think twice about throwing you away along with the other trash. Understood?"
Shisami: "Yes, Lord Freeza!!"
*Shisami undergoes rigorous training with Freeza, reaching a level of power that seemed impossible to him a few months back. He was unrecognizable by Sorbet*
Sorbet: "The earth will tremble before our might. Before that, I have to make sure we're...Shisami?!"
*Shisami walks through the door, surprising Sorbet with his appearance*
Sorbet: "Eh...you've become a stranger these days. What exactly have you been doing?"
Shisami: "Preparing for the battle with the Super Saiyans. I'm sure you haven't forgotten that."
Sorbet: "No, of course not. You seem...more formidable. I can't really understand why, but I'll just check for myself!"
*Sorbet checks Shisami's Battle Power with his scouter and is left in shock*
Shisami: "Impressive, wouldn't you say?!"
Sorbet: "How did your Battle Power explode like that?!! You were never close to this level. What happened to you?! Does this have something to do with Lord Freeza?"
Freeza: "You could say that."
*Freeza came floating through the door in his hover vehicle*
Freeza: "Shisami here wanted to become an actual warrior. His thirst for power was quenched...by me. I've put him through the most extensive training regimen in the universe. It was either grow and become the monster he could be, or die like the weakling he was. Luckily he choose the first option. Most of you are pathetic. Absolutely despicable weaklings who are a waste of time. But Shisami here, he's one of the first, outside of Ginyu, who's actually made me proud. His natural strength and toughness exceeded my original opinion on him. He'll definitely have what it takes to face the strongest warriors on earth!"
Shisami: "It's an honor to serve you, Lord Freeza. I thank you for this opportunity."
Freeza: "I know it's an honor. Now put this opportunity to good use....when we land on earth!!"
*The End*

Hah id easily believe it,its not uncommon for powerful beings with untapped potential to exist.SO would explain how he managed to go toe to toe with piccolo.
Problem is i dont think it was ever explained.
A simple statement would have sufficed.Guess that is asking to much eh?
Re: Shisami managing to land even one shot at Piccolo is BS
They really just had to put a line saying "Shisami had been training with Lord Freeza, it's no wonder he's giving the Namekian trouble!" to put most of the concerns to rest. I hope they add more exposition with the extended cut.

Yeah, that'd be the best solution. Hoping we'll get to see some of Freeza's training, too.

Freeza becoming that strong in 4 months with unspecified training is bad enough... Now a random alien is also such a prodigy that he becomes Imperfect Cell level in 4 months with just training with Freeza...?Doctor. wrote:They really just had to put a line saying "Shisami had been training with Lord Freeza, it's no wonder he's giving the Namekian trouble!" to put most of the concerns to rest. It's still better than having no explanation at all at how he's supposedly giving Piccolo trouble.rereboy wrote:Freeza becoming that strong in 4 months with unspecified training is bad enough... If Shisami were "training with Frieza", he'd be dead.

Maybe his new uniform gave him super powers ^^
