What is the rarest/most valuable Dragon Ball collectible?
I have a few candidates.
The Dragon Ball Z 2 V: Only 2,000 copies of this Japanese PS2 game we're released. Often cited as one of the holy grails of Dragon Ball collectibles.
The Super Posable Yadrat Goku Figure: From Bandai's Full-Action Pose Series. Rumored to only be 100 made. No one knows if they exist or not. Only one picture exists online.
I can't think of any others. If you can please let me know.

I've only seen the thumbnail of this video, and I haven't actually watched it, but I guess it'll give some new information about the Yardrat figure.

I saw that video a LONG time ago. In fact, it's where I first learned about the figure.Unicorn_Bazooka wrote:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMoA35_QA5s

Re: What is the rarest/most valuable Dragon Ball collectible
Mekke Dragon Ball Selection Volume 5 Diorama – Super Saiyan Goku and Porunga: This goes on eBay for as much as $1400. Damn.
ZEEM Diorama Model – Great Ape Vegeta and Yajirobe Tail Cut Version: Released as an exclusive at the Japan Super Festival and Hobby Con in 2009. This goes on eBay for as much as $900.
Banpresto Ichiban Kuji – Shenlong Gold and Silver Version: Gold and silver Shenron statues by Banpresto were released in limited quantities of one hundred each; in addition, they could only be won through the Ichiban Kuji—a lottery for special edition figures from Banpresto. If by some miracle you find this available for purchase and it's less than $400, buy it immediately.
Banpresto Tokyo Toy Festival – King Cold: Limited to only 500 pieces, and it was only originally available at the 2008 Tokyo Toy Festival. Current asking price on eBay is $725.
ZEEM Diorama Model – Great Ape Vegeta and Goku: Genki Dama, Arlia, Black, and White Versions: The diorama was released in four different versions—the Genki Dama, or Spirit Bomb, version (the regular version distributed in mass quantities), the Arlia version (limited to fifty), the Black version (limited to twenty), and the white version (limited to ten). While the black and white versions are the most rare of the four, the Arlia version is also considerably difficult to find and pricey, too.
Banpresto Ichiban Kuji – Angel Goku: Limited to 100 pieces, and given away (like the Shenron statue) only to those who entered the Ichiban Kuji monthly lottery.
Bandai Super Battle Collection 3-Pack – Super Saiyan Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks: Originally released in 1992 to commemorate the release of Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13, this 3-pack is one of the most popular Bandai items among serious collectors. Not only does the set contain all three characters in their Super Saiyan forms, but it also contains the only figurine replication of Super Saiyan Trunks wearing his Capsule Corp. jacket. This 3-pack is a Summer Toei Animation Fair limited version and can sell for up to $1,200 in mint condition.
The Super Posable Yadrat Goku Figure trumps all of those other figures as far as how rare Dragon Ball figures can get. If not for a scan and article from the Daizenshuu, many would consider this figure a mere myth.

Never imagined DBZ figures could be this expensive

Seeing what it looks like I call it a myth that someone actually wants that figure.Lord Beerus wrote: The Super Posable Yadrat Goku Figure trumps all of those other figures as far as how rare Dragon Ball figures can get. My YouTube
Soppa Saiyjins from Dorgou Ballru Zetto is my favorite transformation everah, especially when Trounksoru did it in front of Seru and when Bejita did it when he faced Jingonigen-hachigo. But for real, I use the FUNi pronunciation. - Soppa Saia People

All 7 of FUNimation's US Dragon Box sets. Purchased as they were released. I also have the 2008 Jump Special DVD, but I don't know how rare that is.

This must be a fake, is it? The box it comes in doesn't match the link you provided, just curious on the matter. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... 66&alt=webLord Beerus wrote:Banpresto Ichiban Kuji – Angel Goku: Limited to 100 pieces, and given away (like the Shenron statue) only to those who entered the Ichiban Kuji monthly lottery.

No. It's legit. But it's extremely hard find on the internet. And I doubt anyone who has it, would want to sell it, considering only 100 of them exist.Saiyan_nation_ wrote:This must be a fake, is it? This is being sold for 50 bucks, I was thinking about getting it but I'm throwing it out there for anyone who's interested.Lord Beerus wrote:No. It's legit. That's just the basic version of the figure. The one that comes with the angel wings is super rare.Saiyan_nation_ wrote:This is being sold for 50 bucks, I was thinking about getting it but I'm throwing it out there for anyone who's interested.

The SDCC Goku is pretty rare. At the time S.H Figuarts were only starting so probably less were produced. I see him usually go more than $500. I prefer the regular Super Saiyan Goku because of his manga colors while this one has more of the anime colors.

I don't have anything too crazy. I'd say that my sealed and autographed copy of DBZ Kai Vol. 2 with Yamamoto BGM is probably worth something. Used copies are selling for over $100 last I checked.

Re: What is the rarest/most valuable Dragon Ball collectible
The seasonal Jump specials with Dragon Ball posters (from memory: Autumn 1985, Spring 1986, Summer 1989) can go for a pretty penny, though that's not entirely on Dragon Ball alone.
Also, I'm still looking for the 1986 issue of TelePal that has Toriyama's talk with Rumiko Takahashi, so if anyone has any leads on that....

Whoa, the sets with Yamamoto BGM are valuable now? I have the first three.... didn't really occur to me they might be worth something. Not that I'm selling, it's just kind of cool to know.Kendamu wrote:I don't have anything too crazy. Besides the things already mentioned, the Proovy Gohan/Goku Kamehameha diorama catches a pretty large sum.
I have a Dragon Ball collection of sorts which can be seen here.

Re: What is the rarest/most valuable Dragon Ball collectible
I dunno about rare but I have an awesome Saiyan Spacepod about the size of my head with a infant Goku inside
Some old pics of it.
It's not battery powered, just there's that in there to give a sense of scale.
Some old pics of it.
