Discussion regarding the entirety of the franchise in a general (meta) sense, including such aspects as: production, trends, merchandise, fan culture, and more.
While reading up on a few different things regarding GT, I came across this. This is just another one of those goofy performances that have people in suits made to look like characters from the anime. Apparently, in early 1997 there was a live event featuring what may have happened after GT. Don Kee is out of prison and has a few lackeys from Ledgic's race, as well as Cell and and Freeza with new forms. Goku is supposed to make an appearance with Trunks and Pan as companions, like the beginning of the series. The only pictures I can find of it are the ones that were featured in the original article:
Cell's new form:

Freeza's new form:

Don Kee and co. vs Trunks and Pan:

It seems to be a lot like Dragon Ball Kai: Super Battle Stage, which is pretty easy to find footage from, although that makes sense because it's a lot newer than this, but I was wondering if anyone could provide footage from this event.

I still haven’t lived down going, “Who the heck is Tao Pai-pai?” that one time I was talking with Ei’ichiro Oda-kun. But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.
