Backwards Compatible DB Games

Post by Lord Beerus » Wed Aug 05, 2015 11:00 am

Microsoft recently revealed during their conference at Gamerscon all the publishers so far that support backwards compatibility for 360 games on the Xbox One. Bandai Namco Games was included as one of the publishers that support backwards compatibility. Which means that games such Burst Limit, Raging Blast 1 and Raging Blast 2 can now be played on the Xbox One, for those who may have sold their 360. I have an Xbox One , as well as Burst Limit on the 360, so I'll definitely be taking full advantage of the backwards compatibility feature to play, in my opinion, one of the must underrated Dragon Ball games ever. For those who have an Xbox One her on Kanzenshuu, will you be taking advantage of the new backward compatibility feature to play previous Dragon Ball games that were only available on last gen consoles?

Just because the publisher supports the program doesn't necessarily/inherently mean that all of their games will be a part of the program.

I think Burst Limit, RB1-2, HD collection of Budokai 1 & 3, Ultimate Tenkachi and Battle of Z should be compatible with the Xbox One one day. It would be cool if Namco Bandai put some of the PS3 & 360 DB games on PS Now for PS4 users like myself.

That's actually a good point that I didn't consider.

I think we might be jumping the gun a bit here, but it also wouldn't surprise me to see a lot of the DBZ (and Naruto) games from Bandai Namco come up on the backwards compatibility list in the not too distant future.

Yeah, I'll admit I kinda jump the gun when this announcement was made. I guess you say I was quite naive, but who knows. BN could allow previous DB to be backwards compatible, I mean it's not like it's gonna cost them much.

Shiiiet this is one of two things I'm jealous about the XBO, backwards compatibility, though I'd only rent Burst Limit. The other thing I'm jealous about is the Halo series(I'd take that over Call of Doodie any day).

Hopefully Sony will do something similar with the PS4....someday....

I think it is the simmilar case like backwards compatibility of Xbox and Xbox 360. The games are backwards compatible, tough some are the most, some partly and some can't run on 360.
There is even a list of these and hey, I even found a list of Xbox One!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_X ... h_Xbox_One

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_X ... h_Xbox_360

Not many games, as I think they list only the full compatible titles. Btw. after dissapointment with XBox 360 after PS2 I went on PS4 for my next-gen, so I can't try it out.
