There are trillions upon trillions of planets in the universe. It would take him millions and billions of years to clear the entire universe by going 1 planet at a time. It's such a faulty argument it's kind of laughable.

Planet=/=Universe they arent the same the gap is big.

The galaxy was still there since Goku visit earlier and there was still stars seen in the background. Some fans really take things out of context since destroy the whole universe can mean anything. It was likely a figure of speech saying that Beerus would end up destroying every planet and star over time if no one stops him. Destroying the whole universe would mean that you would have destroy every galaxy (which has billions of stars and planets), every dimension, time and space it's self to destroy the whole universe. The only character who comes close to that power was Buuhan with a chain reaction (now raw power) and Super Yi Xing Long with a chain reaction as well.

Blowing up a planet aka Casual would mean seconds
Core busting is over a minute or or longer.....
Big cap between both because a direct hit means if it hits a building or even a small object and it blows the planet up without hitting the core like what Beerus did with the tab is casual.
