This is a sprite comic I made two years ago. I don't really remember who made each sprite, but I'm fairly sure they're all from DB Vortex (I'll give credit once I hunt down each sprite sheet I used). I'm surprised how well it's aged, but that may be entirely due to my older sprite comics looking so awful. The dialogue does seem a bit flowery, but it's not too bad. Anyway, a few things to note here. SSJ2 Goku isn't stronger than Perfect Cell. The idea here is that he's still suppressed and Goku--who's ignorant of his true power--doesn't want to take any chances, effectively being the opposite of how Gohan was in the same situation. So, if anyone wants to see more I'll be happy to continue this story.

Also, the attack on page three isn't a Spirit Bomb, it's just some random ki blast that looks similar. Probably the biggest thing I'd change if I could find the psd to that particular page.

Is Cell in this equal to Cell from the manga after he received a Zenkai? It would make sense if he is, but I'm just curious if maybe this one is stronger for some reason?

He's actually overall a little less dangerous seeing that he doesn't have Goku's Instantaneous Movement, but battle power wise he's around the same level. I'd place SSJ2 Gohan a bit weaker due to the beating he took with Goku just after Cell received his zenkai, but the Death Beam distraction (which didn't really do anything to Gohan) would've still worked even if he was a tad stronger.

Thats understandable.

Should be an interesting fight between the pair of them then. Cell might have the advantage with his surperior intellect, willingness to fight dirty, and regeneration. It seems like the odds are against Gohan, especially if Cell spits out some improved Cell Jrs. The only thing Gohan could hope for is a slight power advantage at this stage.

I'll be looking forward to the updates.
