Little Saiyalings

Post by DaemonCorps » Thu Apr 13, 2006 12:40 am

What do you guys think of this series? For those of you who don't know, it's basically an online comic about most of the DBZ characters if they were to all hang out as kids without their powers. Think of it as the Peanuts comic strip gone slightly awry... :?

Eh, I remember I really liked this series when I was younger. Since it ended, I don't really go searching for any DB fan made stuff. From what I remember, it was really funny (yes, how much more vague can I get?). However, I absolutely hated the "spinoff" of the series (Saiyalings: the college years). It just kinda lost its little kid-ness that made me like Little Saiyalings.

I think I actually know what you're talking about. I don't really remember anything about it but wasn't it hosted on the Planet Namek page? Yeah, I'm afraid it was all too long ago but I definitely remember something about whales and boxing gloves, if that means anything.

Yeah, that was when Chi-chi made Goku play dolls with her, so he just made it more interesting by pretending that his boxing gloves were a family of whales that came over to visit Chi-chi's doll family. The results of the scenario were, well... :?

I remember that comic strip series! Yeah that was funny. I am going to try to incorporate those elements into my DragonBall S.
Even I became a loser when I made one of these...

I so remember that from Planet Namek. I loved that comic! Dragonball Arena's hosting it now.

18 looked adorable in that comic. Does anyone know where I could find it all online?

For the record, Little Saiyalings is *far* older than Planet Namek :).

Well, it was a stereotypical idea (normal characters turned into kids having their adventures in a warped fashion in kindergarden) But man, was it carried out beyond that. Great series =D I loved the varying plots... perhaps my favourite was when 18 took over the classroom and tortured the boys.

As chuey said; it's hosted at Dragonball Arena. http://www.dragonballarena.net along with other substantial DBZ artists... *drools* such as Kabu-samaaa...

I'm pretty sure Life on Forbez is still being updated. The problem is it's not being updated very frequently :?.

I loved Little Saiyalings, but I think I prefer DBZ at the Beach to it.

I always thought it was too bad that Piccolo, Tenshinhan, Chaozu, and Yamucha was never in it. It would have been cute to see them really young and at school too.

Pud is God. That's all there is to it. Kami-sama, Dende... you've been usurped.

Yes and that's why #18 took him down so easily with that fork.

Every deity has his/her/its weakness(es). Trust me, I've got more books on mythology than anything else :p And besides, that noise would destroy anybody.
