Add film/sound grain to new material?

I think part of what makes Dragon Ball so nostalgic is the aged look and sound of the Japanese version. While the quality is low by today's standards, its age adds a bit of charm.

I'm not very good with video or sound editing, but if it's not too difficult, would anyone be able to take a clip of dialogue from either BoG or RoF and make it seem aged? I'm interested in seeing how much this would change the mood of scenes, and better compare actor performances then and now.
