DBZ movies getting released on PSP in Japan=late april fools

Post by sangofe » Tue Apr 18, 2006 9:31 am

News found at:
http://www.dbnet-fr.com/

Original newspost:

Translation:
This was a stupid April fools hoax that I disscovered late -_-

Didn't I read somewhere that FUNimation put movie 11 "Bio-Broly" out on UMD in North America? Eh, I'd rather have it on DVD.

I never did get UMD. Oh well, it's dying now (most studios are yanking support), so I guess I don't need to try and understand it :P

Me, too, but, this is a news worthy of mentioning.

Perhaps this is an indication they'll do individual DVD movie releases in the near future
(even though the companies that release on PSP and DVD don't have much to do with each other, or do that) ?

One thing I don't get about PSP is that gams are Region-Free while UMD movies are encoded... WTF!? I would've loved to get my hands on these UMDs if there was a way to get them to work on my PSP.

Regarding Movie 11 on UMD... any info on that? Hopefully they will release others! *Come on Movie 12!*

Oh well.

I checked on a UMD of the movie 11 dub and it looks like it never got released. I guess FUNimation scrapped it.

In a way that's good news... If I can't have it, no one should! Just kidding!
