Would Cooler make a good anti hero?

Put your thoughts. He has the honour and I think he would make a good anti-hero.

Agreed on that required citation.

Why do you feel that way about him? While I didn't necessarily NOT enjoy my brief time with Coola, I also don't really see anything about him that makes me want to root for him. He doesn't really have anything going for him. There's no real back-story. He's just kinda there, and his revenge shtick also doesn't have much going for it.

Like sure he wants to see the strength of the one of who killed Frieza but also, avenge a family member. Cooler also respects his men and doesn't abundantly kill his men so he has like this nobility going on with him. So in a sense, he acts more like a courteous 'prince' as he is the son of a king.

As Goku said in FNF, Frieza would've made a great rival/anti-hero for him. A point I've been thinkin 4 some time.

Cooler was slightly bearable, especially in his 5th form. Frieza's regal, majestic nature in his 1st form alone makes him superior. But his every other forms, particularly my least favourite 100% Powered Form isnt making him look as anti-hero

Torn between both bros tbh. Meta-Cooler would be the best anti-hero EVER. Mecha Frieza isnt far behind. Argh...confused tbh

Frieza reminds me of Veggie when he's pissed. Like in FNF when he couldnt inflict sufficient damage to Goku in his final 4th form

He was regal as galactic warlord in his 1st Form. Him residing in floating pod further reflects his superior, regal stature imo.

Cooler was well...regal too. He fits the "elder brother" kinda majestic stature & hence more responsible chap. As opposed to his somewhat spoiled younger bro.

Oh ok. I was suprised at 1st as Piccolo's transition from villain-to-anti hero was pulled off quite convincingly. While Cooler, esp Meta Cooler has man-crush on Goku. Odd sense of respect & blood lust which doesnt translate well into "another Piccolo" to me.

Coola's idea in general would have been something more substantial if it was executed better. You may ask how? Well, I would have completely removed the filler Garlic Jr arc and replaced it with a Cooler Arc (Which means, no movie of course). With Goku not around on earth, it would probably turned out really fun.
